BraunMultiQuick 5 Vario MQ5235 Hand Blender, Sauce Mixer, BPA-Free Plastic Beaker - White/Grey

I have a number of kitchen appliances including a 20 year old Braun stick blender which is still working well. It doesn’t have any additional attachments. I have a food processor and a hand food mixer along with a stand food mixer. I use all, but I’m still inclined to do many jobs by hand to save the bother of getting the appliances out of the cupboard. I have arthritis and I’m finding some chopping and grating jobs more difficult and I was looking at food choppers, to easily fine chop veg etc.I spotted this and after much checking of price and other options…other makers, different combinations of tools etc, I selected the Braun. Oh wow, it’s impressive. It still has the quality look and feel I associate with Braun products. I was particularly tempted by the fact that this unit has 1000w motor. Some are significantly less and may struggle with tougher jobs, plus there a wide selection of speeds. It’s very easy to switch to the whisk and this makes short work of a batter or egg whites. The chopper is amazing and very fast. Easy to pulverise in seconds. The mixing jar is ideal and I really can’t fault this appliance. It’s small enough to keep in the kitchen drawer and it’s something I’m likely to use most days. All the bits are dishwasher safe ( not the case with some other makes) and it’s an all round outstanding buy. Even better, after ordering I remembered I’m a member of Which…I should have checked their recommendations first to see their best buy. This model was tested in October 2024 and is the best buy at 49.99. I got it as a lightning deal for ten pounds less and it’s £89.99 on the Braun website. It’s a genuine bargain and I’m very happy to recommend.

Awesome, really good bit of kit

I have bought cheap hand blender s in the past don't seem to last long,so I decided to buy this see if it last long than few months.i have used this hand blender and so far it is very good and a lot steadier and just feel the difference in quality of this product when using it .

Does everything it promises, however the processor part sometimes mushes instead of chopping, but for the most part it works well.

Great blender. Perfect to puree baby food and soups. Easy to clean and maintain. Hoping it will last for some years. We have been using it regularly and really enjoy it.

the fact that the product has adjustable speed and different heads is very practical and allows you to do your job in every way. The product is very robust and functional. Of course, there are better products at higher prices, but it is one of the good products that can be bought in this price band. I believe I wont need to buy different product for a long time.

We primarily use the Braun MQ5200 hand blender to avoid the hassle of using a full blender for soups, and it works perfectly for that. It blends efficiently, and the best part is how easy it is to clean afterward. A great, convenient tool for everyday use!

This replaces the very near identical 20 year old one, hope this one will last as long. The old one still works but has battle scars and the engine has gone very very noisy. Very minor design differences, the new one is much more shiny, the old one looks dull especially at the clear bits. Could mix and match accessories with old and new. Using both as a stick and as a chopper.
