Absolutely Brilliant Results โ Foolproof and Wholesome!โญโญโญโญโญ
We decided to step away from supermarket bread to have complete control over our ingredients, and investing in the Morphy Richards Fastbake has been a fantastic decision. As you can see in the video, the process is incredibly simple: you just layer your wet and dry ingredients, add the yeast, select your program, and let the machine do the hard work. My first attempt was a bit of a learning curve because I didn't read the water measurements properly, but once I followed the quantities exactly, it turned out an absolute masterpiece. The bread comes out beautifully golden, incredibly soft, and fluffy on the inside, with a perfect crust. It makes the absolute best homemade sandwiches. It takes under three hours from start to finish, and the smell inside the house is incredible. If you are looking for an easy, reliable way to enjoy fresh, preservative-free bread at home, I cannot recommend this machine highly enough. Five stars!

A quality, good value and user-friendly machine
My husband has used this machine for nearly 6 months continuously, 3 times a week, every week. Just from that experience I can honestly say that it is an excellent product. If you are starting out, and you just want a machine that makes a standard large white loaf in 3 hours (using 500g strong flour) then this is ideal and it makes very good quality bread which tastes incredible. You will never want to buy shop bread ever again, its that easy and that good. The user guide is helpful, not too complicated with everything you need to know to make the range of breads available through the programs available. Its not particularly loud when mixing, it has a fairly larger footprint on the worktop although the viewing window is very useful to check on progress. The user interface is pretty simple and easy to use. We did have a Panasonic branded machine which whilst good quality as a machine, took 4 hours to do a much smaller loaf and was double the price. So the Morphy Richards is far better value. Highly recommended.

Breadmaker
Used it for a little bit now for the bread settings only - the breadmaker itself is good, simple to use and understand. An issue is removing the mixing attachment for washing etc. The attachment is quite difficult to remove. In terms of counter space, it does take up quite a bit but I imagine any breadmaker would. This machine does not have a separate yeast or additions area so that may be an issue for some but we have been okay with it.

Fantastic machine, 100% recommend
I was pondering on getting a bread maker for a little while, but avoiding it as it's a lot of money to spend on something you might not bother sticking with for long. I decided to mooch about and see what was available, stumbling across this fella. It's a nice comfortable price point, so wouldn't have felt like a waste should it have ended up living it's life in a cupboard, never to see the light of day again. However... He lives on my worktop and is in use multiple times a week, I LOVE this thing! It's so easy to use, there's no real set up. You plug it in, add your ingredients, set to the right type and size, and off it goes. It does all the mixing and baking for you, very little time or effort is required to make fresh, tasty bread. I don't have a lot of worktop space, and it is a decent sized machine, but it slots in nicely without sticking out too much so I don't mind the size at all. It gets quite busy when mixing the dough, but it's nicely stable and sturdy so doesn't rock about at all when in use. It comes with a booklet full of recipes for various bread types, our favourite is the french style loaf as the crust is lovely. It beeps to let you know when to add additions (my personal favourite to add is jalapeno and cheddar!) I've also used it to whip up dough to make bread rolls with, it's a lovely addition to the kitchen and I'd not be without it now, I've not bought store bought bread since getting it a couple of months ago.

A very good buy. I'm so pleased that it is back.
This is at least my fourth Fastbake breadmaker. When my last machine gave up the ghost, Morphy Richards told me that they were discontinuing this product, which meant that I had to purchase from a different supplier. Unfortunately that too packed up. I am therefore pleased that the Fastbake is back again. I have always been pleased with the product, which produces a nice loaf, with very clear instructions, which are easy to follow. I only ever use the standard back and have never tried the one hour recipe, as time isn't usually a problem. I always make the 2lb loaf and in my case I always add Caraway seeds for flavour. The machine produces very little noise.

Amazing!
It just works! The booklet contains a bunch of recipes to use which do work well but I do prefer my own bread recipe which works just as well in the machine. Whack in the ingredients, press the button and away it goes. I DO find that sometimes flour doesn't quite get mixed in right if you leave it on it's own so it needs a tiny bit of help as it's doing the initial mix, a spatula around the edges just to knock any residual flour into the dough is what I do. Can't really say there is a single thing wrong with it. It does everything perfectly for what I need it for and is a decent size for the counter top. I use it every few days for a fresh loaf and also use it as a mixer and prover to make my pizza dough!

Easy to use and produces great bread.
Excellent product. This is the most favoured item in my kitchen. Simple to use and produces great loaves every time. Best buy I've made for a long time. Love it (if that wasn't already clear).

Almost perfect. Definitely worth buying
My husband and I have bread regularly and I'm confident with yeast / dough but I what I do lack is time. This looked like what we were after and the reviews were good so we bought it and now, after about 1 month of using it, here is my feedback : Pros : 1) It's low maintenance : you measure the ingredients, you put them in, you press the button and 3 hours later you have bread. It's easy to clean as well. 2) It's consistent : I've made about 6 white loafs and maybe 4 brown loafs, and they came out the same every single time, which is exactly what I was looking for. Nice and reliable. 3) It does so much more than bread : tried the pizza dough last weekend and it was absolute perfection. Going to try the dough for bread rolls, but I see it also does cakes and jams, which is amazing. 4) The 3 sizes work for us : the majority of the time it's just my husband and I, so a 1lb loaf is perfect (as we don't want it to go stale). Not the case with lockdown yet, but I can see how the 1.5 and 2 lb options would be useful if we had people over etc. Con: Well it's just one con so far, really : tried to add seeds to the beads yesterday. The manual gives a table of stages for each program, and mentions the machine beeps when you're supposed to put the seeds in (so about 40 minutes in for program 1 which is a white / brown loaf), as seeds need to be added in after the kneading steps. The beep, however, came on just before second knead (I'm sure, I timed it !) and so I added the seeds. Came out ok, but they definitely got roasted and changed the taste of the bread significantly.
