I think they would be too flimsy and light to bear the weight of a fish tank full of water. There are a lot of airholes in these sheets. You would need a denser type of polystyrene foam for your purpose.

Can these be cut to a custom size by the seller?

I bought this product for my railway layout. For a hillside effect. I was able to cut it, to the right sizes I needed for my layout.Very easy to cut.
