This is a fantastic product but it is not a miracle cure. ALWAYS take your cat to the vet for a health check first if there are any changes in your cats behaviour as they will misbehave or become withdrawn when they feel ill. My 3 cats have all displayed at least one of the following symptoms of stress: Scratching furniture / wallpaper etc Peeing or pooing on furniture / carpets / clothes / shoes / handbags etc Fighting with other cats (in a multi-cat household) Depressed / withdrawn / lazy / frightened / skittish cat Overgrooming (bald patches in their fur)/ undergrooming (dirty, smelly cat) Weight loss / Weight gain Poor health - in particular chronic cystitis (kidney / bladder infection) which can be extremely painful for your cat and cost you a fortune at the vet. Symptoms include peeing more often, difficulty and pain when peeing and blood in the urine. Cats are very sensitive to changes in the household such as decorating, new furniture and new members of the family (lodger / new partner / new baby / new pet etc). Cats will also react if your neighbours cats invite themselves into your garden or house! I discourage my neighbours cats with a childs water pistol. If your cat is fit and healthy, Feliway will alleviate most of the above symptoms but i would also recommend the following... Scratching - Invest in a tall (1 metre) scratching post and praise / fuss your cat when they use it. You will never stop your cat from scratching as this is part of their natural behaviour and how they shed claw sheaths and sharpen their claws. Peeing / pooing in inappropriate places - Have 1 litter tray per cat, do not use covered litter trays in a multi-cat household (it will encourage bullying and resource guarding) and clean it regularly - at least once a day. Cats are very clean animals will not use a dirty litter tray - they will continue to use other parts of your house as a toilet! I hope this review helps. I noticed a massive change in my cats within the first week of using Feliway. 1 month on, there have been no cat fights, my furniture has remained intact and my cats are much happier and relaxed. So much so, that i have just ordered 2 refills!

The Feliway Classic diffuser has made a noticeable difference in my home, especially for my two indoor cats. One of them is usually very skittish, hiding under furniture at slightest noise, while the other tends to be a bit territorial, often leading to tension between them. After plugging this in, I started seeing changes within a few days that have really benefited both of them. My anxious cat has become much more confident. She no longer darts off to hide when there’s a loud noise or when visitors come over. Instead, she stays out and even interacts with people more often, which is lovely to see. For my other cat, the territorial behaviour has reduced significantly—there’s been less pacing and fewer instances of him trying to claim certain areas as his own. They’ve both been getting along much better, with fewer squabbles and more shared naps in their favourite spots. The diffuser itself is easy to set up and doesn’t have any noticeable odour, which is a big plus for me. The 30-day refill lasted as promised, and I liked that the starter kit gave me everything I needed to get going. I bought the Feliway products after my cat, Martha, began weeing on the beds!!!!!! We have 4 cats and she and the others have become a wee bit stressed recently, due to changes at home. That is having the garden cat-proofed so they cannot get out, moving the cat-litter box outdoors and moving the ceiling-high scratch-post...too many changes in too little time. I have undone these changes now, have bought a new litter-box for indoors and have two outdoors, and I have put the cat-tree back. Plus I have invested in a 6ft timber cat-tree for the garden so they have an activity source! Anyway Martha was still unsettled, and she then weed on my sons bed! She and the other cats are all getting on top of one another and have less space then they are used to. I read the reviews on the Feliway and decided to give it a go. It is highly expensive and the vets prices are the highest! I bought one diffuser and the 60ml spray from an on-line vet company and then two more diffusers from AmazonUK. I have to say since these have been working (2weeks) I have noticed the cats all seem calmer and Martha hasn't peed on the beds since. I cannot tell if the Feliway is working or if they have just calmed down naturally, but I do think it has had some effect, but there has still been a few spraying incidents from my other cats :/ I think I paid £88 for 3 diffusers and the spray, so much money! The Amazon price is the cheapest I have found,so 5****s for them! I hope it will be worth it - it has only been 3 weeks, so it is probably to early to tell if it is really having it's best effect, it does say it takes a while. I have one diffuser in the hallway, one on the landing and one in my sons room (where the peeing has taken place) and I use the spray to spray around on the stairs and the beds, so we shall see ;)

recommended by my vet to stop my warring cats! It hasn't stopped it completely but definitely the atmosphere feels calmer. Two cats, two plug ins - one in the hall and one on the landing. It seems to have also helped with one of them over grooming.

Got for a very anxious cat when we got a new kitten. In the first instance I do think after a few days (not sure how many) it did work, as the cat seemed less stressed but it made no difference to her mood towards the new arrival (the kitten). So we put this classic one aside and bought and plugged in the Happy Friends Cat and I am not kidding you her mood got a lot worse, she seemed very angry instantly, even towards us which she never did before... growling at us.... she started to stop wanting to go in the room it was in... after two days I felt something was 'off' and we all noticed her mood change for the worse, so took it out and went back to this one the Classic for a few days. I think Happy Friends was making her more angry (what is in it?!!) but this one seems ok, but I have now taken it out too to give her a break and just have fresh natural air. I will never know 100% if it worked the classic worked completely but after experiencing an effect of Happy Cat Friends one (the mother kitten one) I have never seen that mood change in my cat, I went off the idea of using any of these and decided to give her a break I don't think i will ever use one again. Watch your cat, you know your cat!

My kittens were constantly fighting, and wouldn’t settle. Someone recommended this to me so I bought it to try. Within days my kittens were much calmer. It is a small plug in and you can buy refills for it. No noise or smell come from it. I would recommend this as it does calm your pets down.

Actually works great. Had la chonk at the emergency vets for cystitis and they used them, she didn’t even react to the injections she was given or the thermometer put you know where. So I bought one asap as la chonk came to us basically feral and was sometimes forgetful of actually being an indoor pet and not a wild animal. Success, she has only went into feral mode once in the past 2 weeks. Will definitely be buying the refills.

What can I say to describe this system...Rubbish!! Simply Rubbish! Sorry, I hate it when someone puts a review saying rubbish dont buy but for this I'm afraid I have to agree, it is rubbish. Ok so it may be just the cat (Sorry toby!!) My mum, whos 86 has a cat called Toby (Ive added a picture of offending cat above including one of him looking chilled out sat next to the plug in and its box to show why I took the photo! Toby is now 3 and into a very very bad habit. He is systematically ruining my mothers 3 piece suite, now she has had this set since before I was born so its over 60 years old now (no I'm not 60 yet btw! I'm over 40 and thats all I'm saying on the subject :P) She has had it covered several times and the last time 10 years ago attended uphostery classes and recovered and upholstered the whole thing beautifully and was so pleased with the result!! It was her pride and joy! Anywhooo...Back to Toby, now as a kitten he howled all night in the kitchen so my mum let him have the run of downstairs, bad idea! He took to scratching the sofa, then the arm chairs now he is after the dining chairs and carpet too! My poor mum is desperate for a new 3 piece suite since I bought my sofa 2 years ago, she thought how nice mine was and wants one herself from DFS (quick advert for the furniture store I bought my sofa from!) Toby cat has completely ruined my mums poor suite and no matter what we do, scratch posts, scratch mats, scratch anything, he ignors it and goes for his preferred medium. The 3 piece suite! Sorry for the epic story but I'm getting to the plug in........I promise!.... Saw this plug in and on it, it says on the box, amongst other things, bad behaviour such as scratching...Purrrrfect (sorry couldnt resist it) Rang Mum "hey I've found this thing on Amazon that sounds right up your street and might just get Toby out of his bad habit of scratching, you may get your new sofa after all" told her about it, read the description to her and she said "get it!" So I did We plugged it in by his favourite chair (pictured above with said cat!) and waited. Day one...no change. Day two no....change.. ok a bit soon so we waited and waited and waited. I bought it on the 16th Dec 2019 it arrived the next day so its been plugged in since then. I am writing this review on the 8th Jan 2020 so its not been in a month yet BUT no change WHAT,,,SO,,,EVER! Toby cat still wrecks the 3 piece and shows no sign of stopping. Sorry feliway, Toby doesnt think much of your product, neither does my mum! BTW if anyone knows a way of curing this bad puddy cat of scratching the sofa, please let me know!!!

Good product though expensive so I put it on only in the evenings after the first week. My cat is so calm and has stopped peeing on the bed since then. The holder plug was non standard so, I put the refill in the Goodnight Mosquito repellant holder and it works fine!

Wir wollten Feliway ausprobieren, als wir unseren Kater aus dem Tierschutz adoptiert haben, damit er sich bei uns leichter eingewöhnt. Das klappte auch sehr gut und nach 2 Wochen war es so, als wäre er nie woanders gewesen und er zeigte auch nie problematische Verhaltensweisen, oder Ähnliches. Ich war danach jedoch immer noch nicht ganz sicher, ob wir einfach Glück hatten mit dem Katerchen, oder ob Feliway tatsächlich geholfen hat. Nach einigen Wochen konnte ich die Wirkung jedoch richtig miterleben, als er zum Tierarzt musste. Wir waren in einer Klinik, in der der Katzen-Warteraum und die Katzenbehandlungsräume mit einem Feliway Verdampfern ausgestattet waren. Jede Katze, die in Ihrem Tierarztkorb anfangs hinein gebracht wurde, mauzte und zeigte Anzeichen von Stress, doch nach ca. 15-20 Minuten in dem Warteraum mit Feliway wurden sie deutlich entspannter. Wir nutzen jetzt auch das Reisespray und besprühen die Ecken des Tierarztkorbes damit ca. 20 Minuten, bevor wir den Kater hineinsetzen. Seitdem ist er während der Autofahrt zum Tierarzt deutlich entspannter, ohne das Spray mauzte und jammerte er immerzu, so lange er im Korb war. Habe die Tierärztin darauf angesprochen und nach möglichen Nebenwirkungen gefragt und sie meinte, sie nutze das zu Hause auch bei Bedarf bei ihren Katzen und auch in der Klink haben sie bisher nur gute Erfahrungen damit gemacht. Ich würde es jetzt auch nicht ständig benutzen, aber für die Eingewöhnungsphase, z.B. nach einem Umzug, oder wenn man einen neuen Schützling zu Hause aufnimmt, oder eben für die Fahrt zum Tierarzt (das Reisespray), also für außergewöhnliche Situationen, die das Tier sonst unnötig in Stress versetzen, funktioniert es sehr gut.
