Searchlight Chandelier Crystal, M

I brought two chandeliers for my living room, they arrived quickly and undamaged . They look great once they are up but as the instructions are not clear for the long lengths of crystals you may want to do this first 1) get all ten lengths out if the box and divide them so that there are five shorter lengths and five longer ones . ( I thought they were all the same size at first ) 2) attach the longer lengths all around the outside 3) attach the shorter lengths from the top of the chandelier coming down ( I did this once it was up) then I attached the bottom of the length to the glass dish (this also is not clear in the instructions ) but you can attach them to the arm if you want but it does hang better with it attached to the dish ( the bulb sits in) All the small droplets go on the glass dish of the light ( around the bulb ) the bigger ones go at the bottom I then put the light up and checked it worked and finished putting all the droplets on AFTER it was put up as it is very hard to see when it is not hanging . You can put the lengths in different positions if you wish as there are many hooks this took a couple if hours! As I kept changing it ! By the second one I got the hang if it a did it all hanging ( on a ladder in about half hour! Although it took time I am very pleased with them ! They look lovely and would recommend them

The photo looks good however upon arrival I discovered the main body and the arms of the lamp was clear plastic, not glass as you be led to believe. The electrical flex is white and therefore sticks out like a sore thumb. All the glass (not crystal) pendant pieces have to be joined together and attached to the plastic bases of each arm. I have returning mine.

These chandeliers are brilliant value ( I bought 2 after seeing the first one) These people are great to deal with, sorting out a problem I had the very next day. The fitting instructions are also very good including the dressing with the glass droplets and strings. The height reasonably obtainable by shortening the suspension chain to 3 links ( needed to reasonably suspend the chandelier temporarily and still be able to wire with ease), is more like 500mm. I also needed to hang the lowest hanging droplets on the inner ends of the arms rather than the suggested centre of the arms. Our ceilings are 2340mm high I'm 1780mm tall (5'10") which gives me adequate space to walk normally under them. Regards, John

This looks great now that it's up. It is a bit fiddly to unpackage each of the chains or drops as they're linked into the plastic so if you pull it, the wire loop extends. Once you get the knack of scissors without chopping the wire loops you're ok. The assembly after that is easier. Note - you need to push the middle glass bit right down into the base and tighten. I've gone and purchased the matching wall lamps now, for construction on a rainy weekend....

This is described as having crystal droplets but they appear to be plastic. Certainly not crystal glass anyway as I compared them to my existing chandelier which I had intended to replace. The chrome option looks cheap, but the same design is available in brass colour which may be nicer to look at.

They look great, but really difficult to fit and put together.

This chandelier pretty much does the job of 'leaning' the room towards a traditional look. I'm very pleased with it. I want to thank the reviewer named Victoria for explaining how it might be put together. As she says there is more than one right way to assemble it. (And I can't imagine how it could ever be delivered fully assembled). If the candles get knocked in transit, you can easily bend the metal arm to make it upright. The sky's the limit when it comes down to the fiddle and the cost of a chandelier. They can be made from lead crystal. So I can't fault the mostly glass construction. You'd need to be closer to notice that the five C arms are plastic.

Chandelier arrived adequately packaged! Instructions were self explanatory and was easy to assemble. In previous review we were concerned that it was going to take 2 hours to put together! In fact it took my Husband in between 45 minutes and an hour. The main body, droplets and ball in the centre are all glass and not plastic as other reviews had said - so an absolute bargain at the price! Looks absolutely beautiful in our bedroom!

se leggo con gocce IN CRISTALLO mi aspetto le gocce di cristallo o almento (visto il prezzo) di vetro ma non certo di plasticone!!! Montaggio molto difficoltoso, avvitando il braccio di sostegno al lampadario (con le braccia con lanterne) la coppa si è spaccata...... quindi.... non solo niente cristallo ma anche plastica scadente.

Livraison rapide, lustre en plastique et chrome, mais parfaite imitation du cristal, du plus bel effet. Correspond à tous points à mes attentes.

Buena para el precio que tiene mucho plástico y de tamaño es ideal. Relación calidad y precio bastante. Buena ok
