Polar T31 Transmitter

Really pleased with it. It connected immediately to my Spirit R800 rowing machine and works fine.

We cannot go to the gym without our Polar Heart monitors. These work well with most electronic exercise equipment. I watch my heart rate instead of the machine intensity. It makes it easy to keep a steady pace that keeps me in my personal heart rate zone that is good for me. It gives a constant reading without having to grab the heart monitor handles. Washable. I had my first one for about 15 years. I would still be using it, but I accidentally left it somewhere. I replaced it with exactly the same monitor. Great product with a great price. So worth it!!!!!!

I was looking for a heart rate monitor strap to use in the gym, and after searching around decided on the T31 Coded Transmitter. So far so good - it just works with the equipment in my gym (Technogym and Startrac) without any need to do anything other than wear it as described in the brief instruction leaflet. So, I'm pretty pleased with that! It loses a star due to the lack of replaceable battery, though it should last me quite a number of years as I do only use it in the gym. However there are a few guides out there to replacing the battery yourself, even though it's not constructed to allow this

works well with my fairly old polar cs100 computer (as it should being original equipment for the computer).Pity you cannot get the matching speed sensor any more as despite what an american gent would have you believe on U tube (or whatever) neither my brother nor I have managed to replace the battery in that item and neither could I in my original HR monitor. Thank goodness the computer can easily have its battery replaced. |Come on Polar its time original model speed sensors are available. We don,t all want or need fancy new complex bike computers. ,

The Polar T31 Coded Transmitter and extra strap that I also purchased arrived in a box big enough to take 20 of them with space to spare. I bought this for use in the swimming pool and when I first used it the sensor was picked up by my Polar FT7 immediately. I have only used the transmitter twice so far and I have to say that the connection with my FT7 was constant and it provided EXCELLENT data. It is unobtrusive and you forget that you are wearing it.

Manufacturer claims 2,500 hours. My second one lasted 9 years, estimate 1,500 hours. First one was similar. I've followed all the advice, washed immediately, kept in a dry environment, so I don't know what else I could have done to get more battery life. Maybe the battery life also depends on years, not just how much it's used. I've bought a new one to work with my original 18 year old receiver. It works fine.

Good but battery does not last it seams. My treadmil struggles to pick it up and the tacx trainer also struggled to recognise it or keep reading it

Good product - shame you can't replace the battery, although there is a way supposedly which involves you having to cut the transmitter to insert battery - but this is no good if swimming as it will loose the waterproofing. 3 star because of this. La fascia precedente è durata più di 5 anni e anzichè sostituirla con un'altra fascia, con poca differenza di prezzo rispetto alla sola fascia, ho acquistato un nuovo cardiofrequenzimentro Polar, comprensivo di fascia, ma altro modello più recente e con più funzioni. Purtroppo, non so se fosse difettoso, rilevava la frequenza cardiaca ma dopo qualche minuto perdeva il battito e diceva di riposizionare la fascia. insomma, durante l'allenamento ero sempre a spostare la fascia, ma la frequenza veniva continuamente persa. Ho deciso di restituirlo e Amazon mi rimborsato immediatamente il prezzo pagato e successivamente mi ha inviato il corriere a ritirare il reso. Un servizio incredibile. In nessun negozio tradizionale si può avere un servizio simile. A quel punto ho ordinato questa fascia, come quella esaurita, per il mio cardiofrequenzimetro e funziona senza nessun tipo di problema. La indosso, accendo il cardio e mi alleno. Per tutta la durata dell'allenamento non perde un battito. La uso anche con il mio stepper Tecnogym, lo accendo e aggancia immediatamente il segnale: favoloso. Avevo solo un dubbio, che la fascia codificata potesse essere solo utilizzata con il suo cardiofrequenzimetro e non con attrezzi cardio, invece funziona perfettamente anche con le comuni macchine da palestra, basta non collegarla al cardiofrequenzimetro da polso. Insomma: pienamente soddisfatto
