Excellent ear protection with great comfort and sound balance
I previously owned the Alpine MotoSafe Tour earplugs and really liked them, but unfortunately I lost them. This time, I stepped up to the MotoSafe Race version for a bit more protection and extra peace of mind on longer rides, even though I don’t do any track days. Just like the Tour plugs, these are very easy to put in and take out and remain comfortable even on longer journeys. Wind noise suppression is excellent, especially at motorway speeds. With the higher noise reduction you do need to turn your audio device up slightly, but this hasn’t been an issue for me. I’m using a Cardo Packtalk Edge, and there’s still plenty of volume while keeping the sound clear. They also come with a small zip pouch that’s compact, well made, and easy to attach to a keychain or jacket pocket. Overall, these earplugs offer great protection, comfort, and value for money. I would definitely recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again.

Best motorcycle touring earplugs I've ever used
I bought these on a whim ahead of a month long European trip on a classic motorcycle. I've used foam earplugs for many years but they cut out everything and I wanted to be able to hear any clunks or rattles developing on our pair of 52yr old bikes. Did they work? 95% yes, they did. Firstly, they're reusable, and that's a big advantage over taking a bag of foam filters. Secondly, they cut out a selective range of noises, not just everything. So very little wind noise but you can still hear people speaking to you - just about anyway. It's all a bit muted but it is conversation rather than the lip reading you have to do with foam filters. They're reasonably easy to fit with the extension tube that comes in the bag, but a few times I had one work itself back out again after I'd put my helmet on. You then end up with some odd cross ear resonance that drives you mad very quickly. And occasionally they 'pop' in your ear as the seal is broken and remade again. Overall though they're far far better than the foam alternatives. I'm not sure how long 'reusable' means but I've had these ones in and out of my ears 70-80 times and they're still fine. They could probably do with cleaning (some ear wax does build up eventually) but other than that I've no issues at all with them. If they do eventually 'wear' (other than parts breaking off I'm not sure how they could wear) I'll replace them with another pair. Don't lose the little fitting tube though - without that you'll struggle to get them in your ears.

All the rambling aside I would as of right now, recommend these ear plugs. I think money well spent.
Given 4 star as I've only used it twice so far. I bought these as I bought a bike that needs a baffle on order. The big was so loud it was making my ears ring more than they do already. The added bonus is that I've read they remove wind noise. I've not tested this yet having not done any motorway routes yet. I unfortunately didn't feet these properly the first time as I wasn't aware there was a fitting tool in the bag. I just plugged these in by hand and went. I popped out today and again even with the applicator I didn't quite get it right. However I think third time was the charm. I've never used ear plugs, I've only ever used ear defenders, so it takes a bit of getting used to it. Having said that, after fitting them in properly the third time I found it drastically reduced the noise of the exhaust and in general the noise. I was using 3M tree plugs and they completely blocked out all noise. I didn't like this as I couldn't ear my music, exhaust or any emergency services. These on the other hand I can hear my music, the exhaust as well as other traffic, albeit much more muted but audible all the same. In regards to the music I just turned the volume up till it was audible. Personally I enjoy listening to music while I ride and don't find it takes my mind off the road, I just switch off the music mentally when I really need to concentrate. In regards to the exhaust I read a review here saying it muted the exhaust too much, I personally found it didn't. Admittedly this is all personal experience. My bike is arguably very loud currently. It made listening to the exhaust much more enjoyable. These weren't that much more expensive than what I paid for the other mentioned ear plugs. I think they were slightly less than double. Personally though I was a bit dubious after reading reviews but I'm currently happy with what I spent and what I got. All the rambling aside I would as of right now, recommend these ear plugs. I think money well spent.

Excellent value for money
I opted for the Alpine Race ear plugs due to the cheap price & thought give them a go. I am not disappointed at all. They fit really well & are very comfortable. Very soft & flexible. Smaller than I expected but they fit perfectly using the easy to use tool to insert fully with no problem. Once in & helmet on again very comfortable. They block out a massive amount of wind noise with just a very low pitch can be heard. I’m not sure if they work a bit too well but I think I have to get used to them a bit more as in you can still hear outside but it is obviously dimmed down a lot. Ignore people saying hard to fit hard to remove. Simply read the instruction which will take you about 2 seconds. Pull the top of your ear upward and use the the tool to insert, you will know when it’s fitted correctly instantly. The red tag makes it very easy to remove. Anyone who can’t pull them out with the red tag is stuffing them in waaaaay too far! They come with a tiny carry case which was a nice bonus that links nicely to my bike key ring. Definitely go for these. Personally I am very happy with them. 5 star

Good, but difficult to remove
These worked well, were comfortable and the tool to fit them worked better than expected, however, I got them stuck in my ear and struggled to get them out. The little tag used to pull them out is quite small and very difficult to grasp. I had to return them.

Comfortable, effective noise reduction. Reuseabl
All as described. Very effective. Soft, flexible and should fit most ears comfortably. Reduces wind noise, but still able to hear comms, traffic, etc. Once in, stay put. For me, the little plastic insertion-assist 'wotnot' is a game changer for getting the plugs to sit properly in my lugs! Soft, zippered storage bag useful. Would recommend.

Worth the money
Wow, really, really impressed, finally got round to using them. Having previously struggled with in ear earplugs falling out, let alone forgetting they are in, I am genuinely impressed with these plugs, they take enough of the noise away without blocking out all noise, no hot ear and they are comfortable enough to forget you have something in your ears, I will definitely buy again.

Good value for money.
Good value for money however, when I put my helmet on they can fall out of my ears which can be annoying. They’re easy to insert but also easily knocked out. Good ear plug quality but the fit can be better but that could be me personally.

Comodidad. Me parecen cómodos ✅.

Nicest earplugs I've used
I bought these after losing my previous set of earplugs, Surefire EP4s. Wearing the Race model under a Bell Star DLX (not the race star) on a CBR600. Turns out this helmet is made for more of a touring than sport riding position according to Bell so the wind noise is a bit louder. First off these are the most comfortable earplugs I have ever worn and the first set that have stayed in place for more than an hour or hour and a half. Cheap foam plugs seem to work their way out of my ears after 30 minutes, and the EP4s would last maybe an hour and a half before they were starting to work their way out. Also the EP4s would press on my ears just enough that they were getting a bit sore by that time anyways. I wore these for a 3-1/2 hour round trip this weekend and they stayed snug in my ears the entire time, and are comfortable enough that I could pretty much forget they were there at all. So, I absolutely love the comfort on these and if I ever lose them I'll buy another pair on that fact alone. Also great is they filter just the right amount of noise for riding. Foams and even Surefires with the caps open filter a lot of noise out, great for protection but more than needed in my opinion. My helmet is quite loud at highway speeds, and these still cut out almost all of the wind noise but when I pull up to a light or just stop to talk I can still hear people well enough to talk. I couldn't really do that with the EP4s or especially foams. I haven't tried every earplug available, but these are definitely my new favorite and I don't believe I need to try anything else now. The little insertion tool is a nice addition too, makes getting them in super quick and easy.

doskonały komfort - idealnie wyciszają szum wiatru w kasku.
Raz na sezon trzeba kupić nowe (guma zużywa się). Są tego warte bez dwóch zdań!

These things actually work!
Plugs come with an insertion tool BUT no instructions for use. In fact the instructions made no mention of what the little piece of plastic was. ...not that YouTube couldn't help but weird. Did about 20km highway ride and so far very impressed. Music and comms (compliments of Cardo freecom 4x) very clear. Still hear the wind but no rumble whatsoever. ...of course a high cross or headwind will be the ultimate test but so far great. And very comfortable. ...not like the decibulls I tried last week. And now I've had issues removing them a couple times and have had to ask for help. Contacted Alpine but no solutions were offered. ...might have to return them

Does what it’s supposed to, doesn’t block out general noise so you can still hear your bike and your surroundings. Only comes in one size and it comes with a small pouch which you can attach to your key rings and store the earplugs safely. Very easy to clean as well and it’s not very noticeable because it sits snug in the ears.
