USB Unifying Receiver - Black

It was easy to set up but the device wasn’t for the equipment I was trying to connect. No one’s fault. Be sure to read the specifications. I thought I did but it didn’t work for me.

Ahhh the small USBs - how they love to disappear! I swear they just eventually worm their way into the computer itself, never to be seen again. Luckily, this unifying receiver means not having to replace the whole keyboard/mouse. I mean, some of us don't really know how these things work, so that was what I thought I'd have to do until I found this (stop laughing, it's not nice to make fun of the tech-challenged!) The pairing was simple, even for me, and it works well. For some reason, I do have to "re-pair" it when I change laptops for each job, even though it's connected through the docking station I use to simplify swapping between them, but that's a relatively easy matter: just press the button on the back of the mouse and click on the popup. I'm sure there's a workaround, but I'm good with this little step.

In the description for many of these receivers it never mentioned my keyboard K60, only up to the K50, but i decided to give it a try and it works just like the original. you have to download the software, which is only 4Mb, and it took a minute max to start working.

I accidentally vacuumed up the dongle for my keyboard and mouse. I didn't realize it until it was way too late. I was able to pair them to this dongle with no problem. I saw some reviews saying the software isn't available for download anymore but I was able to find it on Logitech's website by googling "Logitech Unifying Receiver" going to the product page on Logitech's website and scrolling down until I found the download button.

The website listed on the package no longer works and I downloaded two different ones and neither could detect my mouse/keyboard combo. I'll just save it in case I have a compatible keyboard/mouse in the future.

Really compact, easy to connect and capable. Connects both mouse and keyboard from logitech, and smaller format helps to keep it on the laptop
