I thought I had a problem with a home-terminated cat 6 cable but it turned out to be a cheap beige tombstone - one of several I had in use. Some pins lost contact if the plug wasn't pushed fully home, eg. if it was was pulled back against the locking tab, the amount of travel to which seemed excessive. Bought this pack of 5 to replace all of them and these are great. They look and feel better quality and keep full contact even if the plug is pulled against the lock tab.

I have used these to extend Cat 5 with Power over Ethernet on a 100 M bit network. The switch does not report any port errors on the 100m plus extended runs. Bottom line is that, in at least my circumstances, if you have to move a bit of kit and your run isn't long enough you can save a ton of effort and cost in pulling new cable. I will always be keeping a few of these by me from now on. Well made little enclosures. Moulding fits together well. Sockets are not loose. Not any bigger than they need to be. Nice job.

Four out of five of these were perfectly functional and did as expected. One, however had a short across 4 pins and so did not carry signal. Good bit of kit but QC is a bit lacking in the factory.

5 stars because when I was building my set up I was trying to connect a cable and was like oh bugger this won't reach! Now what am I going to do this is ruined! Then I was like BAM! It hit me I ordered this cable thing and it saved my life. Life crisis over. I nearly have it 4 stars because it doesn't have Bluetooth but on the other hand it saved my life. So ya know. Worth it. Recommend if your life needs saving or if Tuesdays are a nightmare for you and need something to help your connection to the world. Not suitable for connection with Bluetooth - this doesn't have it which was the only issues I had with it. Buy this if you want to. You're worth it.

Feels expensive/good compared to others I have and works great for extending ethernet cables. Size is a little on the big side but wasn't an issue for me since it's out of view. Overall works great and had no issues with it.

I have a mass of 3 and 4 metre cables but needs some longer lengths to rearrange some devices and furniture. These enabled me to use my many space shorter cables to create extended runs without the expense of buying longer cables. Two have bene running for over a month with no issue or speed loss due to poor connections. Very happy and will deploy the rest soon.

They do exactly what they say, not the most exciting product, but it does the job well. Very sturdy. Recommended.

I needed some CAT5e couplers and these were perfect for the job. They are a little chunkier than the cheap cream/beige ones out there but they feel much more robust and have proper metal framed RJ45 ports on them, opposed to moulded plastic ones. I've only tried running gigabit through them but apparently these support 10 gigabit over CAT6.

Para hacer prolongaciones sin pérdida de velocidad. Un producto que se nota bien hecho y a un precio muy ajustado. Después de dos meses de uso no he perdido nada de velocidad y siguen funcionando perfectos

Do that it's expected to do. Seems not to loose any signals. They are littlest 'bulky/big" but it's OK for me.

Non ho analizzato alcuna statistica di rete ma ho realizzato che, nonostante la presenza dell'adattatore, la copia dei file in rete dura lo stesso tempo di prima, con cavo diretto allo switch Dovendo fare un impianto fisso, eviterei di mettere delle "giunte" tra i cavi di rete, ma per lavori volanti o occasionalmente, questi adattatori vanno benissimo. PS: funzionano tutti e 5 :)
