Gorilla Tape Crystal Clear 8.2m

Really good tape! I used it to fix a cracked door shelf in the fridge and it's holding perfectly after several months. The tape is almost invisible and very easy to work with. I bought resin mixes to fix it properly after using this tape as a temporary fix, but the tape is so strong this could be a very easy fix! Great value for money, seems to be waterproof, as it's seen a few spills in the shelf it's holding together, it's a nice thick tape but very easy to use, sticky enough to hold permanently.

Used on car port where a firework went through making a hole. As its see through you cannot see where the whole was and also stops the rain coming through. Easy to stick and has been up now for at least 9 months. Great product. Easy to use and value for money.

We have a large canopy over our patio, that's brought out each spring. Unfortunately, having set it up mid April, we then had a number of very windy days, which caused small rips over six or seven of the velcro straps holding the material onto the supporting poles. I hunted around for some repair tape before finding this, which seemed like it might do the job. It's a bit fiddly to apply as is very sticky. I found that the best option was to cut a length a tad overlong, apply most of it to the area to be repair, before cutting the end I was holding off, to remove the section with finger prints on the sticky side. I repeated on the underside of the material and then applied pressure from top and bottom with both hands to get it to stick firmly to the material. So far the repairs have held well, after about a fortnight none of the repaired sections are showing any degradation. Initially I thought it was perhaps a little pricey, but as it seems to work I consider it a worthwhile purchase, and I will probably be making some tell tails for my sails using it too.

Cheap and easy to apply. It's not the thickest, about the size of regular tape but its extremely strong/sticky and can be used for good temporary repairs on a wide range of things.

Amazing tape, only received it yesterday and I've already taped up a cracked bath panel, a cracked plastic bin and a broken rear car light. The tape is incredibly strong and also waterproof as far as I have been able to test. You also get a long roll so it should last ages. It is expensive but I would happily recommend.

Nice and strong

This tape is very strong and sticks really well. The clear finish makes it useful for repairs where you don’t want obvious tape showing. I’ve used it for a few quick fixes and it holds firmly and lasts well. Safe to say this tape really gorilla-grips the job. 🦍

I bought the tape to fix a small hole in the seam of a dog paddling pool as the description shows it suitable for this and that it even sticks underwater. The paddling pool has a rough inside and smooth pleated outside. Originally I tried to stick the tape on the inside but it appears the tape does not stick well to non smooth surfaces and not very well if it gets wet. I was able to stick the tape down securely on the outside of the paddling pool although it isn't quite as flexible as I was hoping so it wasn't very easy to get it to stick inside the pleats and so hasn't plugged the hole as well as I would have liked. It has done a fairly decent job of at least stemming the leak to allow the water to be held at a decent level for a day or 2. It does also appear to have remained in place for decent length of time without coming unstuck. I wouldn't recommend this product for anyone else trying to fix a leak in a foldable dog paddling pool as I am sure there are other products which would be easier to use and better suited to the job, however I am sure it works well for other uses.

This Gorilla did not meet expectations. It was not water proof and does not stick under water. The sides of the tape folds inwards.
