Will 2 players be able to play this using the same console? Don't want to buy it if my kids can't play together.

Hi there, the demo is available for free on nintendo shop and we could play that 2 player just using the split joy con. I expect the main game will be the same. :)

Does it have a story mode.

Not an unreasonable question (even allowing for the fact that it's not released yet). Often there is a great deal of info available pre-release. I beleive it's a port of the Wii U version which I understand had a linear single player mode. In these types of games you often get to play in single player mode like Tekken and Soul Calibre etc so if that's what you mean I imagine there would be but I'm not certain. Hope this was hellful.

can this be played multi player offline or only online?

My boys play together on the same Switch. Not 100% sure if they are online but have a recollection that it is no.

Is this game supported on the nintendo switch lite?
