Men's T20501 Quartz Easy Reader Watch with White Dial Analogue Display and Black Leather Strap Silver-Tone

Great watch. Chosen through Reddit due to the suggestion on [...] They actually suggest the Timex with the date counter but I wanted Sapphire Crystal Glass as it is very very scratch resistant. It has an audible "tick" but can be easily muted at night by placing some cloth over the top. The build quality is very good although the leather feels a little on the thin side but I don't see any signs of it breaking any time soon and you can't expect too much leather for the bargain price of this watch. The dial is so easy to read. The print is sharp and bold and because of the size it has a great viewing angle. The choice of black hands with the second hand being silver means you aren't distracted by the seconds hand when trying to tell the time. The glowing face is great and is not just a tiny LED at the bottom but a full glow of the complete dial. It is green which I would of preferred to have been white but that's a minor complaint.

I know from experience that these Easy Reader watches have a life expectancy between eight to ten years, but for the price it works out at only £4 to £5 per annum and the face so is clear and easy to read.

Review for Timex Easy Reader 35mm after five years: It just works. Time reading at the briefest glance (useful for social situations where you are bored!) and great night illumination. After five years heavy use, the battery needed changing, which I did myself. Also got a new rubbery strap with quick release spring bars. It's a great watch for travelling, as not too flashy and doesn't attract attention. Take this and an F-91W and you're covered.

Purchased this watch for work, because I needed a simple classic watch as we are not permitted to wear smart watches. It looks good paired with casual and smart apparel, so is very verityle accsessary. I have put 3 stars for water resistance only because of the strap. I wouldn't recommend wearing the watch with this particular strap in the shower as it takes a while to dry, and I could see it deteriorating over time. To summarise. A great affordable watch for any occasion and I would highly recommend purchasing one yourself.

The winder came off and was lost. The time could no longer be adjusted and was no longer of use. This occurred just as the 30day return window elapsed. Very disappointed in a well known brand, would like to leave no stars.

My dad-in-law has recently had eye surgery and I was looking for a reasonably priced gift watch with a clear dial and accurate timekeeping. This Timex well comes up to expectations, especially for its price. Product arrived well on time and is packaged quite nicely. The watch itself is very good looking with a large, clear white dial and a smooth leather strap that is easy to put on. My husband tried it on and i must admit, the watch looks smart on young men as well and is by no means a "grandad watch." Best thing about it is the illuminator - simply press the side knob and the dial glows a lovely blue colour, making it so easy to keep track of time under all circumstances. This watch would especially be good for men who have problems with bracelet watches (skin hair getting caught in the straps, ouch!) as well as people with limited agility in their fingers (the strap is soft, smooth and easy to put on.) I would certainly recommend it to anyone for now and i'm sure it will make a lovely gift or a personal use watch. It remains to be seen how well it performs once it's in use, and if i feel differently, I'll update this review. But for now, almost 5 stars. I would have loved it even more if the box carrying the watch were fancier. But I guess with the price, I shouldn't complain. Are you reading, Timex? :)

bright, clear face, large numerals, retro chic. some of the other reviews mention that the strap is rather short for a man's watch, this is a plus if you want a large clear dial but have small wrists and/or, like me, yr a woman. quite comfortable to wear, good back light. if you want an attractive, clear to read, very reasonably priced watch this could be the one you've been looking for.

Cercavo un orologio a lancette, dal design sottile e compatto perché ho il polso piuttosto piccolo per un uomo. Di "cipolloni" pesanti, spessi e ingombranti è pieno il mercato e non me ne interessavano altri, perciò questo modello della Timex è sicuramente una scelta alternativa poco comune e interessante. Tra l'altro è "Made in Olanda" non in China e la confezione è elegante e molto curata. Il cinturino è di pelle abbastanza sottile da risultare confortevole e leggero anche in piena estate. Certo non di qualità eccellente, del resto cinturini migliori costerebbero molto più dell'intero orologio in questione, perciò decisamente valido rapportato alla classe di prezzo (l'orologio l'ho preso in offerta oltretutto). La sagoma dell'orologio è sottile e leggera ma sobria e a mio avviso elegante se si apprezza il genere "old fashioned". La regolazione delle lancette risulta pulita, continua e scorrevole. Le cifre sono ben leggibili e l'illuminazione Indiglo efficiente e pratica. Se devo trovare proprio un neo a tutti i costi, la lancetta dei secondi color argento su sfondo bianco non è il massimo della leggibilità, soprattutto con poca luce, ma in effetti quando la si consulta? Piuttosto silenzioso, al polso non si sente mentre appoggiato al comodino accanto al letto nel silenzio della notte si potrebbe sentire il ticchettio. Ma nel caso basta metterlo in un cassetto. Certo bisognerà attendere qualche tempo per vedere la durata dell'insieme, ma di sicuro l'impressione è ottima e lo ricomprerei subito. Dopo alcuni mesi d'uso posso confermare che anche la precisione è buona, basta regolarlo di pochi secondi ogni due o tre settimane!

Relógio muito bonito e elegante. Perfeito pra quem tem o pulso fino como o meu (17cm de diâmetro). Ótimo custo benefício.
