They work well. They are pretty basic but if you are not looking for perfect data They do the job. You need good eyesight and colour vision to work out the PH.

Good test strips that give accurate results

Simple to use but I find when I do a saliva sample it’s acidic but the urine test comes out as alkaline so not sure which one is correct!

My GP suggested that I purchase a pH test kit when I expressed some concern about the possibility that my urine may be too acidic. I purchased this set of test strips after carefully reading the reviews and comparing them with those of similar products. Although the product seems expensive, it does appear to work quite well and I have been using the strips to monitor urine and saliva pH levels over several weeks in order to provide supporting evidence to my GP of suspected high acidity. Easy enough to use provided you adhere to the instructions. I only had a couple of failures, and that may have been due to misuse of the product. It is a little bit tricky to extract a single strip from the container without touching the test tabs and to not end up using two stuck together because they are so very thin. I also occasionally had difficulty in being able to find a close match between the pair of reference colours on the box, or container, with those on the completed test strip. But that may be because of my aging eyesight! However, the instructions do suggest using the end colour tab as the main guide and that it take precedence over the colour matching of the second test tab on the plastic strip. Armed with that information I have been able to get some approximate pH values and average them for multiple tests taken over a couple of weeks. This has confirmed my suspicions and I will be presenting the results to my GP at my next review and I expect this to lead to a proper medical pH test. I will endeavour to provide an update if there are any developments related to the test strip accuracy. So, overall I am quite pleased with the purchase and will not hesitate to obtain some again should the necessity arise.

Personally I think they are really good. Arrived on time and are easy to use, can be a bit tricky to identify with the images but you soon get used to it and its more guidelines anyway. Have not used it for saliva (just peed on it) sis used it too and thought it was a good idea. Also like that its not to medically technical. Customer service is of a very high standard, was emailed to see if product had arrived and to see if I was happy with product, then asked if I could spare a second to do a review. I liked the fact they said "I hope we've provided a 5-star experience for you!" rather than please give us 5 stars- that just annoys me, like don't tell me how to rate you hahaha. anyway really good product will buy more when I run out.
