Hi will this be ok to seal a loft door the door sits into the recess round the opening

It will seal the gap provided the loft door is heavy enough to press down to complete the seal. I used the 10mm to seal gap on sliding door very sucessfully

Hi. Would this be too thick for an attic hatch? I plan on putting 2 small bolt locks on the outside so would need it to be compressible. Thanks

It all depends on the gap you have when the hatch is closed. The seal is 8mm thick and will compress down to 2mm, so if the gap is less than 2mm you may have to use extra force to close the hatch.

Has anyone used this to stop internal doors banging? as i have two that drive me nuts! if not this what would you recommend? thanks

This is for excluding drafts under doors. You might be better off buying some narrow draft excluder that sticks to the inside of the door frame.

can this be used for static caravan window and doors?

Yes, no problem. It is quite a thick and wide foam tough, so make sure the gap is measured to ensure the doors and windows will close after fitting, If this is too wide/thick then there are a few others which cover smaller gaps called Stormguard Weatherstrip, Ultraseal foam and standard foam.
