Anker iPhone 8 iPhone 7 Screen Protector KARAPAX GlassGuard Screen Protector for iPhone 8 iPhone 7 with DoubleDefence Technology and Tempered Glass [ Case Friendly ] [2 PACK]

Initially used a screen protector I had left over from a previous pack to use on my replaced iPhone 8 and this adhered properly but I had some problems with dust when trying to realign the product. This wasn’t a huge issue to be honest as this is my fault. The main problem is that I have now gone through two full packs of these protectors and experienced the “halo” effect where there is one almost continuous air bubble surrounding the screen and can not be removed with any pressure or leaving for any amount of time. I am disappointed that this has occurred as I have generally had positive experiences with anker products. The only saving grace is that I got them at the price of £5.99 a pack. I have contacted anker support and hope for some form of response to the problem (whether this is a known issue or whether the batches I received were faulty). UPDATE: Been in contact with Anker customer support who have been brilliant and arranged for a replacement pack to be sent out to try. Will update accordingly. FINAL UPDATE: Received a replacement pack and on application of the second protector I persevered to push the air bubble that surrounded the edges up to where they appeared to originate from and with a bit of pressure and effort managed to eliminate them completely. I think it is important to add that the screen protector itself is fantastic and is still one of the best application methods on the market, I believe. The issue I think was that due to possible minute manufacturing differences that I imagine are possible, my screen was perhaps slightly different in dimension to the screen protector, causing the issues. I would still say if you are considering this protector go for it. They are nicely packaged easy to apply and if you are not happy or have any issues the anker support team usually reply within a day and are extremely helpful. I’ll certainly be buying from them again.

I was recommended by my son about anker screen protectors so after two expensive fails from the apple store £29+ each with no comeback claims .thought nothing to loose i ordered the screen protectors they come in a kit of two covers very simple easy to understand instructions so simple it only took a couple of minutes to fit As soon as the protector touched the screen most of the air bubbles disappear outwards then I just pushed the few remaining out with tool provided very easy Another tip I found if you rub around the edge of the protector with cloth provided with just enough pressure to make it warm it will seal any air gaps remaining I’ve got two iPhone 8 one with a apple fitted Belkin protector and now one from anker that I’ve fitted and visually no difference i won’t be paying apple to fit on future phones Overall I’m very pleased with this protector

This is the second time I've gone for Anker screen protectors for my iPhone. Two years ago I put their previous GlassGuard iteration on my then new iPhone, and it was brilliant, staying attached and protecting my screen for the two years of my phone contract. It seems like more of the same here with this 'Karapax' branded glass. I followed advice by running the shower on hot for a few minutes and then attached the protector in the resulting humid atmosphere. The two screen protectors come with their own little packs of extras – two good sized hinge stickers, a dust removal sticker, a lifting sticker, a screen cloth and an alcohol wipe. The glass did have air bubbles in the middle of the screen after applying it, so I had to lift a couple of the edges up to lay back down again, and all was fine. Unlike the cheaper, rubbish screen protectors, these don't lift slightly at the edges, creating a line of air. The 9H is real too, as it seems impossible to purposefully scratch the surface of these. They'll pick up little tiny marks over the months and years of course, but it really is a strong piece of glass. It's thin too, so feels great to use, and 3D Touch works perfectly. I'm glad I purchased an Anker screen protector again, and I will do again when I get a new phone in two years time.

The product arrives beautifully packaged. It looks premium. Great care has been taken to ensure the glass protectors are dust free and can be handled without contaminating the surfaces. The design for aligning the glass on the phone screen before it is bonded is quite elegant, using a system of paper tabs. The application process is shown very clearly in the Anker instruction video on YouTube. However, there are problems with the product: first, the glass has been machined to be quite close to the home button, and I have found that my fingerprint is now rejected much more often than with the bare screen. Also, pressing the home button is now quite uncomfortable and unpleasant because of the thickness and sharp edge of the glass. Your finger cannot avoid it. Secondly, after just a few hours, the protector started to come away around 50% of its perimeter, leaving a 0.5-1mm grey rim which detracts significantly from the beauty of the phone. That is starting to irritate me. Please note that the protector is not as easy to fit as one might think from the Anker video. There is inevitable movement in the paper tabs and it is very difficult to ensure that the glass ends up exactly where it was aligned in the initial setup before peeling back the protective covers. This is a one-shot application. If it isn't right first time you will definitely have to start again with a new piece of glass because dust will be unavoidable and does show under the cover if trapped. But, to be fair, two are supplied. I ended up using both. Although the product isn't perfect, it is only a fiver, and bear in mind that the Belkin tempered glass cover sold and fitted in Apple stores costs £25 for one unit and also (from personal experience) suffers to some extent with the edge not fully adhering to the screen. Update: Anker contacted me by email after seeing this review and offered to ship a replacement pack at no cost. To be fair, I have tried one of these and I have been more successful in aligning the cutout around the home button. Also, there is better bonding around the edges. In view of the excellent customer service, I would recommend this product.

This phone screen protector is excellent. Not only is it provided with very good and easy to follow instructions to apply, but I can say it really works. My wife's phone was fitted with the screen protector, the day it arrived, and 3 months later it proved it's worth. The phone was dropped, accidently, by my granddaughter and it really appeared to have a broken screen, which we went to Apple store to have checked under warranty. The technician looked at it, peeled off the screen protector and said - "no problems this screen protector really worked" and there is no issue. Thanks guys/girls a great product. p.s. fitted the second protector right away!!!!!

The product is great. Very easy to install! It includes cleaning alcohol wipes and cloths to make it a perfect installation as well as increasing the aesthetics by giving my IPhone a brand new shine. Perfect screen protector, i dropped the phone in my bathroom yesterday, and surprisingly nothing happened. First time ive ever dropped my phone by the way. I purchased this nearly 2 months ago. However after a month and a half, my left side suddenly had an LINE shaped bubble. Which day by day got thicker and bigger. I contacted Anker customer service about this and a wonderful staff member, Stacey, gave me assistance with the products 18 months warranty by providing me a replacement product! All it took was a couple professional steps and everything was great! Thanks Anker!!!

*UPDATE* - Anker contacted me following my review and have sent me a replacement product. I have not yet fitted the protector but I have to say that the customer service I received was second to none. Well done and thank you Anker. I am hoping that the replacement protector fits better but will update once fitted. I have purchased lots of Anker products including their screen protectors for previous iPhone models and have to say I have always been impressed with all their products. I'm sorry to say that this product is just not up to the job. Yes the protector is up to their normal high quality BUT having now used both protectors in the pack and even though aligned perfectly on an iPhone 8 the edges just will not stay down. Such a shame as like I said, I generally love Anker products but this time I will need to look elsewhere.

I bought this along with the Anker case for the iPhone 8 for my girlfriend and was very easy to apply to the screen she has dropped it a few times now getting out the car and it has managed to keep her phone safe and crack free so far together with the case it works a treat will recommend it to friends and family and anyone with an iPhone and will buy again from this seller as they were earlier delivering than first stated.

Excellent verre trempé. Pose super pratique avec le concept pose unique. Pas de bulles, sauf une particule déjà incluse dans le verre, c'est dommage. Qualité du verre (toucher agréable, réaction écran, pas de traces de doigt, etc, fabuleux. Protection totale de l'écran, sauf dans les arrondis, mais totalité de l'affichage sans gêne. Excellent produit.

Ich kann die ganzen negativen Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen. Bei mir kam das korrekte Glas an, genau wie auf den Produktbildern. Also nichts nachgemachtes. Das Aufbringen des Glases war echt einfach und es liegt (wie auf meinen Bild zu sehen) auch an den Rändern perfekt an. Ich habe mir beim Reinigen und aufbringen viel Zeit gelassen. Das Glas sitzt von der Breite genau am Rand meines IPhone 8. Es geht nicht darüber hinaus aufgrund der Wölbung des Displays. Update 22.06: Mir ist mein IPhone aus 1,5 Meter Höhe auf einen gefliesten Boden gefallen. Natürlich erst auf die Seite und dann aufs Display. Das Panzerglas ist oben und unten gebrochen, jedoch das Handydisplay nicht. Es erfüllt also perfekt was es soll. Ich werde nun das zweite draufsetzen und weiß das es hilft 😊 Dem Handy ist nichts passiert. Ich kann das Glas von Anker guten Gewissens empfehlen.

Ottima pellicola, leggermente più piccola dello schermo, bordi arrotondati che ben si integrano con lo smartphone. Si applica senza alcun problema e in modo perfetto con gli accessori in dotazione, le ho applicate su due iphone 7 senza nessuna bolla, aderenza perfetta sui bordi. Finalmente un vetro protettivo fatto a regola d'arte, lo consiglio assolutamente. Prezzo in linea con altre pellicole, ma qualità del prodotto su ben altri livelli... 5 stelle con lode... Ottimo come sempre il servizio prime di Amazon con consegna il giorno successivo all'ordine.
