MRPLUM 30L Rucksack Foldable Ultralight Packable Backpack

My 4th & 5th kids are at high school so I've bought more than my fair share of school bags, lived through many a trauma involving broken zips, straps, nasty waterlogged or cheap fabrics. So - these are fabulous, love them. The only thing that's cheap about them is the price, under a tenner - I've paid over £40 before now for school bags that didn’t even last a term. Fabric has moved on over the last 10yrs, these bags are super lightweight but very strong. You can fold them right down into a pouch. They look flimsy but they happily accommodate school work, bits & bobs & lunches. The size is perfect, I have one kid who was paranoid about forgetting anything so took EVERYTHING to school every day, This has helped him in organising his daily load. PE kits travel separately. Adjustable straps, lots of pockets with zips, pouches for water bottles, happy happy happy. Highly recommend for high schoolers who don't need to take in multiple A4 large hard files. Will certainly take everything a primary school kid needs. Update: the first school bag ever to last a full high school year & start the new school year off!!! Excellent value, highly recommend (put a few in the cars/on the coat for spares or shopping as well) Has now lasted FOUR full terms!!! Unheard of! Miraculous

This bag is so practical, I got it for 2 reasons and I am so pleased I did so: 1. It is perfect for when I go on a cruise! I love cruises and I tend to go once or twice a year. What happens is that you have to have a spare bag for the last night because they take your suitcase and you need a bag in morning to put the last of you things in to disembark. Because the bag is foldable and hardly takes any place, at all; it is the perfect solution for me to keep in my suitcase until it is needed on that last day! 2. I love that compartment for electronics. I am able to fit my MacBook, though it would fit the iPad Pro as well and this is so much better when I am on the way to visit clients. Usually, I tend to put my laptop in my bag, but over time this has made them quite heavy especially when I need to add the accessories, cables etc.... With this backpack, my bag remains for well the usual and I can put in the laptop and everything work related in it and keep on my back. I found that my back hurts less at the end of the day because the weight was all on one side. This has been a good solution for me, and I am so pleased I decided to buy it. I highly recommend it!

Bought this for a trip to Italy as it is small and lightweight and folds down to a tiny size. Ideal for day trips and big enough to take the usual necessities. Only downside is that it is advertised as being waterproof and it isn't, more like water resistant but in a downpour your stuff will get wet. That said it is a great little knapsack and well worth the money.

This bag has really surprised me with how good it is. Great quality material with strong zips which show no sign of the teeth bending out at any point, rendering any of the pockets useless like even a lot of well known name brand products do. It feels very light on the back and comfortable straps make it a pleasure to wear and carry unlike some I've unfortunately had in the past. It feels very tough and I have no doubt it would hold up to thorns etc if using it out hiking for the day. It is also the most waterproof bag I've ever had. The thickness of the material and the waterproofing is amazing considering how light it is. The number of pockets quite amazed me and my partner as the rucksack seems to have a pocket for everything you could possibly need, including a laptop, drinks, a big pocket where you could put food for a day out or carry books for college/university etc, as well as many other pockets (hopefully you can see in the photos). It has 2 bottle holders, one on each side and 4 compartments (one front, one laptop sized and one large one with a big pocket inside that one). Plenty for whatever you could need to carry in my opinion. I also find it great that when not in use, it can be folded down so small (see picture, about 9 by 5 inches, 1 inch deep). This is a great feature and I will personally be using it to take everything I need to work with me, as well as picnics etc because once it's empty, you won't have to wonder around with an empty rucksack in your hand. You could perhaps even fit it in a large coat pocket once folded up. I believe this bag will last a long time with everyday use and as I will be using it everyday myself, I will update this review in several months time to let everyone know how it's doing but for now I really do recommend this bag to others, I'm impressed and it shows how much other brands overcharge considering the quality of this rucksack. This backpack is like a TARDIS. It arrived, all folded into its built in pouch and I was immediately impressed with the quality. And then I started to use it. It has no less than four different zipped sections, meaning that it's easy to organise the way you pack it. And this is the backpack that just keeps giving. This was really shown today when I took my children, aged 7 and 5, to a local National Trust place. We like to be prepared for wet and cold when we go to this particular place as you end up a long way from the car, and pictured is what I carried in the bag. In the huge main pocket went two pairs of waterproof trousers, snacks (owl bag and tub) and my 7 year olds coat and hat when he decided he was too warm to wear them. In the next pocket went their large water bottles and the 7 year olds fleece, once he'd tired of that too. In the next one was my purse, and in the pouch one at the front was a notepad, two pens and some napkins. I had room to spare in all of the sections, and didn't use the bottle pouches at the side. Due to the bag being incredibly lightweight already, it added no extra weight to my load and was extremely comfortable to carry. I bought this bag to replace my well used, well travelled and now very beaten up backpack and chose this based on the low price and it being waterproof, which my old one isn't. I haven't had the opportunity to check how well the waterproof feature works yet, but I'm already very happy with it and considering ordering more for the boys to use as school bags.

Handy for travel & holding my shopping. Has a whistle attached to strap which I love for safety. Also turns into a little carry pouch

I bought this bag a few months ago and used it only twice. Inside the main compartment all the seam on one side has come apart and just keeps getting frayed and larger!!! Very disappointed with the quality as bag size is great!

This back pack kicks a$$. I bought it as temporary back pack for use on a strenuous venture overseas since I didn't want to walk around hours on end with a heavy load on my back. Although this lightweight bag was intended to keep my laptop safe when I did not have access to a safe deposit box, I often ended up overstuffing it was other items and literally dragged it through a dessert climate, through multiple buses, boats and plane rides for over two weeks. Then last month, I had to put it to the test again often by recklessly overstuffing it in order to avoid having to check in bags on my flights. This bag is unscathed despite the repeated torture I have put it through. It should be torn or split somewhere, and it is not! It looks like it will be joining me on a few more adventures in the near future. This back page can be used as a carry on bag, or you can just fold it up and stick it in your pocket should you need additional storage throughout a trip. I highly recommend this bag. One of the best Amazon purchases ever.
