Fantastic phone
Fantastic basic phone! The Nokia 105 (2017 Edition) is simple, reliable, and does exactly what it’s meant to do. Battery life is excellent — it lasts for days on a single charge — and call quality is clear. It’s lightweight, durable, and very easy to use, making it perfect as a backup phone or for anyone who prefers a no-frills mobile. Great value and classic Nokia reliability!

Happy with this dumbphone - here are some details
We recently ditched our landline, so bought this as a cheap "home phone" dumbphone mainly for emergency use by our young son. Before purchase, we tried to figure out a few important details, but found this difficult (even after finding the manual online). Perhaps this phone can be sold through various carriers, some of which have the option to disable certain features, leading to many possible variations of the product? Anyway - now we've received it and had a play, here are a few points of detail which might help someone: - The top-level menu options are: Call log; Contacts; Clock; Radio; Messages; Flashlight; Calculator; Calendar; Settings; Snake Xenzia; Doodle Jump; Crossy Road (seems these last two have free trials, but require payments of £2 each for further use). - It doesn't have a web browser. (A good thing in our scenario.) - The radio needs an aerial to operate: without anything plugged in to the phone headphone socket, starting the radio just gives an error message. Standard stereo headphones (without mic) seem to work ok. I tried plugging in some Apple iPhone headphones with built-in microphone (hoping for hands-free phone calls), but this didn't work at all. - The phone has a speaker, and hands-free calls are possible that way. When the radio is active, there's a menu option to toggle between Headset and Loudspeaker. - When sending texts, the keyboard is the "press 1 three times for letter C" type: this doesn't have any kind of predictive typing. The phone doesn't seem to understand emoji: we sent the poop emoji to the phone, but it renders as two blank squares. - The charger socket is at the top of the phone, which surprised me a little. When it is fully charged, it shows a message "Battery full. Unplug charger from socket." which seems a little demanding - I'm not sure if immediately unplugging is necessary for safety, or to reduce energy use. - We bought this from "Sold by Amazon" to avoid issues that might be introduced by third party sellers. It cost us less than £20. - We are using it in the UK with a Giffgaff SIM. All in all, pretty happy with it so far, after using it for about a month.

Disappointing experience
I had a very disappointing experience with Techstyleuk. I ordered a Nokia mobile expecting decent quality, but what I received was far from acceptable. The phone felt extremely cheap and poorly made, nothing like what you would expect from a reliable brand. The biggest issue was the SIM card slots — they were loose and unsteady, making it difficult to insert the SIM properly and raising concerns about long-term usability. It honestly felt like a defective or substandard product. To make matters worse, when I tried to return the faulty item, I was told that I would have to pay for the return postage myself. This is completely unreasonable given that the product was defective in the first place. Overall, very poor quality product and disappointing customer service. I would not recommend buying from Techstyleuk.

Great basic phone
This is a really good basic phone - the build quality feels good. It is plastic, not metal but it feels solid and the buttons are nice to press however they’re not very big IMO, neither is the writing and it doesn’t seem there’s a way to enlarge anything. The screen is not exactly big. The battery lasts longer, waaaaay longer than a smart phone. The radio is better than other basic phones I’ve used with automatic tuning and adjust features when the phone is locked.- it can play through headphones or loud speaker (with the headset connected). It has Snake but no other distracting features (some additional games Doodle Jump, Crossy Road, Tetris, Air Strike and Ninja Up are on their but they’re paid for at a couple of pounds per game after the 3 to 5 trial plays). The settings are good, I especially like the “Go To” quick menu which you can access from the home screen and customise the options yourself so it’s short cuts to things you want to use frequently like the radio or display settings. I can’t find a way to change the wallpaper but it’s fine, the design is ok. There’s no internet browser or camera but honestly they’d be so poor it would be pointless. My main issue with it is that I can’t find any setting to delete all texts in the inbox or sent box at once. Deleting them one by one is a bit annoying if you’re using this frequently but honestly I think that’s the absolute only thing I can fault with it. It even has a calendar so I’m really pleased with it for the price.

Basically fine, but a couple of minor issues with the buttons
The phone is fine, it does what it says it will. However, it takes several attempts to convince it to switch on - the button needs to be pressed very hard in one corner to register. The keys have both English and Arabic alphabet on them. This isn’t a problem, it’s just not what’s pictured. Because of the power button issue, I’m not totally convinced it’s going to last more than a few months before conking out.

Great as a Backup
This is what I expected, and a basic plastic phone. The phone is just what I wanted, and I will be using it for competitions or when I have to give my number, but I don't really want to. The phone comes with a charger and instructions; I found better online. There is a dual SIM, and navigating the menu brings back memories of my Nokia from 20+ years ago. It's basic and simple to use.

Very satisfied
The item came brand new as advertised. They also included an adaptor so I can charge the phone on 3-point plug. I am happy with the purchase. I had a bad experience with another company who sent me a used phone when advertised as new. Glad there is no repeat of the event. Easy to use and phone was delivered in a well-packed box.
