An impressive package despite its small footprint.
No charger supplied but I found one that worked. A nice blue ring around the volume control when it is switched on and the sound is great. It drove a pair of 40 watt speakers just fine; plenty of volume and a level frequency response. Bass and treble work too! Make sure you don't go below 8 Ohms or it might object but I am well impressed with this bit of kit. I was planning to use it with a computer to provide sound, instead of using a big hi-fi amplifier. It is small enough to attach to the back of a speaker to convert it from passive to powered, run a cable to a second speaker and you have quality sound for the price of a pair of tacky computer speakers..

Crazy for the price, good enough for me
I got given a late 70s Sony ta 1130 amp with companion speakers and sadly the amp isnโt working, so I bought this to test out the speakers. Iโve just watched Dune (2021), thought it would be a good test, and although Iโm no audiophile I can say that everything sounded crisp and clear and room shakingly rumbly where it should. Iโm genuinely happy to put off the Sonyโs repair for the time being. The thing itself is plastic and cheap feeling but all the important bits are robust enough. The dials have a nice amount of resistance to them. It doesnโt come with a power cable, so add a tenner on for a 2 amp supply.

Insane for the money
Ok so some reviews of this product are not great but for 12 pound its insane , easy to install and use and takes 12v so its super easy and common. Then the quality is actually very good and the bass is also good . Would recommend for sure . There is some static noises every now and then but for the price it is insane

Great sound for it's small size
My initial reaction was it's quite small, but that was no disadvantage. The controls are a good size and work very well. I've had similar amps before, but I would rate this as best value for money. There is plenty of volume, treble and bass. Some would criticise that there is no power lead, but I have so many of those left over from previous electrical bits, and it's a pretty standard lead. I've had 12.V amps in the past that have a separate sub-bass output, but this doesn't really need one, as there is plenty of bass. If you can't get a good sound from this amp, maybe check the quality of your speakers. Very happy with my purchase.

Simple, functional, but not great quality
Cheap and cheerful amp. phono in, speakers out, sound gets louder. No remotes, menus, clutter etc. Perfect. However, you get what you pay for. Mine has a constant hiss, and a rhythmic thudding that can be sped up and down by playing with the bass/treble controls. Sometimes it doesn't power up properly, and needs the speakers to be disconnected for a clean boot. Maybe I got a defective unit. It's okay when it works, but annoying when it doesn't. You get what you pay for.

Not good.
The circuit does not employ and kind of noise suppression so you get noise from a transformer along with the DC pop on power up and power down. OK on battery only. Distortion of sound as the volume increases. Dont buy this if you intend to use it as a home amplifier. Its probably ok to power a couple of cheap speakers in the shed but don't expect miracles. The power handling certainly is not as advertised unless you take all the noise into consideration too. I only bought it to try it out, to prove or disprove concept in a project. Bottom line is, its a nice looking idea, but thats all it is.

The price reflects the quality
This is a very cheap device, so I wasn't expecting much, thats about what I got. The specs don't seem to match what it's capable of, output power (measured) seems closer to 1.5 watts per channel than 20. It's noisy and picks up rf from mobile phones, and over all feels very cheap.

Fantastic bit of kit
Overal impressed, unlike other negative reviews there is no hum from the amplifier, and the switch has been redesigned and it is now a sturdy rocker switch, for the money I have paid it is super cheap and the quality of the sound is very good, I have it linked to Bose accousmasters, I use it for my new Samsung S10 and if you use the sound features on the phone it is far better than using a home hi-fi system
