Perineum Massage Oil, Dermatologically Tested, Fragrance Free, 50ml

This oil is great! Smells lovely and you only need a small amount for perineal massage so it seems to last a long time. I've been using it for about 4 weeks and still have loads left. Not sure on whether it will help reduce tearing (especially as there's so many different factors in that outcome) but I have noticed that the skin is a little more stretchy down there. If nothing else, it works as a lubricant so it's easier to massage the area without friction.

I will recommend it anytime.. it smells nice and it’s not harmful but works perfectly

Really good quality oil with a lovely smell- unfortunately ended up with an EMCS so can’t attest to whether it would have worked or not! Gave me more confidence going up to the birth however, which is definitely worth something!

I used this oil towards the end of my pregnancy to try and avoid tearing. It had a nice smell to it, you get more than enough in the bottle for the period of time you'll need it for and the consistency was smooth and easy enough to apply. It's difficult to judge whether this worked or not as a gave birth 10 days early and I can't guarantee that I used the oil exactly as per the recommended instructions (although I do remember building this oil into my routine for the last few weeks before my due date.) I had a natural birth as planned but required 3 sets of stitches as I tore quite a lot! I would probably still recommend this oil as it's worth a try to prevent the tearing. It might have worked for me if I had used it for a bit longer etc, so it's hard for me to judge how effective the product itself is

I've been using this oil for a week in preparation for labour and birth. It has a great texture, it's almost soft. It provides long lasting lubrication and it doesn't sting at all. It also has an amazing, floral scent, but you can tell it's natural. Overall I'm really happy with it so far.

I used this oil from 33 weeks most nights, I was sceptical if it would work. However after being induced I was worried about tearing & with how quickly my birth came the midwives could not believe I hadn’t tore at all & it is 100% down to this oil

I tried this after receiving a sample in one of the free midwife maternity packs. Didn’t even know such a thing existed. Anyhow, this purchase was actually gifted to someone I know that is experiencing symptoms brought on by menopause (dryness). I remembered how nice this felt and thought that maybe it’d help. It also smells amazing too

Wer seine Partnerin oder seinen Partner durch eine sensitive Massage der Intimregion verwöhnen will, ist mit diesem Öl von Weleda bestens bedient. Toller Geruch, wunderbare Haptik, einmaliges Ergebnis - teuer, aber wirklich klasse. Etwas abgewandelter Zweck bei uns, aber die Dammregion bei der Mama ist ja auch für zärtliche Berührungen bestens geeignet.

Muy contenta con el aceite. El bote cunde muchísimo (tiene un dosificador estupendo) tanto que usaría 1/3 desde la semana 33 que empecé con los masajes hasta el día antes del parto en la semana 39. Me ha sobrado casi todo jj El aceite es muy suave, no mancha la ropa, no irrita ni produce picor y yo soy de piel muy sensible con lo que tengo que tener cuidado. El olor me sorprendió. Al principio me disgustó por ser muy intenso, pero tras días con la rutina del masaje nos fuímos acostumbrando. Hablo en plural ya que fue mi pareja el encargado de realizarme el masaje diario. Con la barriga y demás yo no me sentía capaz de realizarlo correctamente. Os animo a que os lo toméis en serio porque ayuda un montón. La zona se vuelve más elástica y, además, ayuda a ir sintiendo y experimentando sensaciones sobre tu cuerpo que antes no conocías, a conocerte mejor e ir mucho más preparada y segura al parto. ¿Si funcionó o no? Para mi, sí. Parto natural sin ningún tipo de intervención con un mini desgarro. Pero esto no se puede probar ya que influyen muchísimos factores. Lo que quiero decir es que acabe como acabe tu parto el haber dedicado unos minutos cada día semanas antes al masaje, a conectar con tu cuerpo, tomar el control de este, compartir y sentir apoyo de tu pareja (es mucho mejor si él os lo realiza o ayuda) ayuda infinitamente a afrontar ese momento mucho más relajada. Os lo recomiendo 👍🏻 *Trae instrucciones sobre como realizar el masaje, pero no están en Español. No importa. Los dibujos son claros y os aconsejo buscar vídeos para aprender mejor y/o consultar a vuestras matronas.

Prodotto delicato e di ottima qualità. L’olio ha una consistenza piacevole, si assorbe bene e lascia la pelle morbida ed elastica senza ungere troppo. Il profumo è leggero e rilassante, perfetto per un momento di cura personale durante la gravidanza. Utilizzato con costanza nelle ultime settimane, dona una piacevole sensazione di elasticità e comfort. Apprezzo molto anche la composizione naturale con oli di mandorle e germe di grano. Flacone pratico e prodotto davvero valido. Consigliato.
