UniBond Sealant Finishing Tool, Silicone Smoother for Wall & Floor

I’m extremely pleased with this Unibond Sealant Finishing Tool and would happily give it five stars. It made applying and smoothing sealant much easier than trying to do it by hand, and the finished result looked far more professional. Whether working around a bath, shower, sink, or kitchen worktop, it helped create clean, even sealant lines with very little effort.The tool is comfortable to hold and easy to guide along the bead of sealant, removing excess product while leaving behind a smooth, consistent finish. It also helped reduce mess, making the whole job quicker and much less frustrating. Even if you don't have much DIY experience, this tool makes it much easier to achieve neat results that look professionally finished.The build quality is excellent, and it feels durable enough to be reused for multiple projects. Cleaning it after use was also simple, so it's ready for the next job without any hassle.Overall, this is an inexpensive but incredibly useful DIY accessory that delivers exactly what it promises. The Unibond Sealant Finishing Tool does the job of creating a smooth, professional finish, but it’s not perfect. The different edges make it versatile for various sealing tasks, and when you get it right, the results look great.However, I found it a bit fiddly to use, especially in tight corners or around uneven surfaces. It’s not the best tool I’ve tried, and it takes some patience and practice to get a consistently smooth finish. That said, it’s still a useful tool for occasional DIY sealing jobs, and it saves time compared to doing it by hand.Overall, a solid option if you’re looking for an affordable finishing tool, but don’t expect perfection on the first go. 👍🛠️

Good little tool if you’re a novice at using sealant

You shouldn't expect much from a silicone tool... or should you?This item is clearly aimed at a DIY market as the profiles are ridculous.1. The curved edge is far too wide encouraging the use of large amounts of silicone. I wonder if Unibond sells sealant too? Oh yes, they do.2. The 90 degree corner is far too large to get into most corners. Check 90 degree angles in your home. How many does this item fit into exactly without leaving a gap somewhere. I'm guessing almost nowhere.It's a shame that the No Nonsense brand no longer seems to produce their set as they understood about getting a tool like this into tricky corners. That's progress I suppose, things don't need to be better, just newer.

So easy to use, very thin but not flimsy. Very versatile and good little small tool. Can use for a lot of things. Was a hard plastic consistency. It made applying the silicone much easier.

This is a brilliant little gadget for getting a nice, even finish when siliconing around baths, sinks, etc.

Overall, not bad....I'm terrible at applying silicone and this is the easiest method I've found so far. I ended up with a really consistent and smooth bead, pressed firmly into the joint.The cons are that when I applied it, it left a thin smear of silicone on the tile above the main bead...I'm sure somebody more competent than I am could tidy that up.The only other downside I found was the limited sizes available. I was siliconing a shower tray so needed quite a thick bead and found the 8mm was only just about small enough, so this wouldn't be any use when smaller beads are required, such as between sinks and splashbacks

Used this to reseal a shower tray and it made a big difference compared to doing it by hand. very useful and pratical

Worked well just hold pressure on it and don't get too much caulking in front of it at once.....no complaints!
