Is this as good or better than a loofah ? The feeling with loofah I do enjoy I feel like it actually cleans

My experience is very positive. While it does not lather up as much as a loofah the body scrubber works extremely well. I find it non abrasive while it does exactly what is designed to do and my skin does feel smoother post wash. Also, cleaning the scrubber post use is simple and you know it is rinsed and ready for your next use. I will not be going back to an old school loofah. Definitely recommend.

How would one clean the body buffer?

As long as you rinse it well after every use it should stay clean, I've had mine 2 months and rinsed after every wash, no dirt, looks brand new still
