KingPavonini 4-Height Adjustable Leg Elevation Pillows for After Surgery

I love this thing! I have no complaints so far! I had to have emergency ankle/foot surgery and was using around 6 pillows of different shapes, sizes, and firmness at a time to help support my leg as I had to keep it elevated and to prevent it from rolling around as I slept. It was quite uncomfortable and not easy to manage as they all wanted to move in different directions. I ordered this and had to let it sit for 24 hours to let it puff up after opening and then I have used it nonstop since then. My leg sits perfectly in it and it keeps it elevated and supported and prevents it from rolling around. The main piece detaches from the bottom very easily and I use the main piece to support my leg when I sit up as well so it allows my muscles to relax and keeps my foot from resting on the floor. It’s very easy to move as I adjust positions to get comfortable but it does not move on its own when I’m using it. I even set an ice bag or ice pack under my knee, per doctor instructions for swelling and inflammation, and this pillow allows it to comfortably sit there and still supports my leg. It is lightweight and easy to move around as needed. This was a fantastic purchase and I would recommend it for anyone who is going to have to elevate their leg for an extended amount of time. I have not used the third piece that sits on top of the main piece to make it flatter as I have not needed to because it serves the purpose I needed without adding that. I am 6ft fall so the end of my foot just barely hangs off the end when my whole leg is resting up the slant and across the top but it is very comfortable and does not add pressure to my leg or anything. I seriously have no complaints about this purchase.

This bolster is designed well, checks every box for what you will need in a multi-month recovery. There are several features that make this such a useful tool when you have to keep the leg elevated to prevent swelling. I appreciate that the height is adjustable by adding or removing cushions- there are velcro fasteners on every side to prevent it from sliding. I liked the extra little cushion that can help stabilize your leg when you need to make minor adjustments for comfort. When I wasn’t using it, I just tucked it between the other two pieces and it stored well there. The whole cushion is sturdy, the foam is cradling without being constricting, and has a textured bottom to stay in place. It arrives compressed and so it takes about a day to come to full shape. I had no issue with a smell from the foam. The cover is soft and comfortable. The sloped side for the knee has a good angle and the microfiber actually helps hold an ice pack under the knee! The microfiber can collect a little heat under the cast in summer, though having ice at my knee was enough to keep me comfortable. There are two handles on the front of the bolster that lets you adjust the position while keeping your leg in place, it’s very user friendly. There are zippers to be able to remove the cover for easy cleaning though I have not had to machine wash it yet. And it has a handle on the side of the bolster to carry it around like a briefcase. The details were really well thought out in the design!! The one disappointing issue I experienced was from the sewing. Unfortunately, one of the front handles was not sewn on properly and 10 days post-op I had the cover off to try to hand stitch it back in place. It was a fairly quick fix, but I was still frustrated that I had to do it at all. The first time I had surgery on this leg, I was unprepared and had to rely on pillows and folded blankets to keep my leg elevated. The pillows roll, the blankets are awkward to move, the ice packs fell off, it was a mess. This bolster made my second surgery a lot easier. I highly recommend this to anyone in a similar situation!

This thing is comfortable and works great. Having the second pillow detach means I can make it smaller, and then I can use it for side sleeping or when my hip gets tired of toes to the nose level height. Handles allow easy readjustment. I’m really short (5’0” or about 153 cm) and I find the adjustable height lets me use it as a lot of lift if I pull the sloped part all the way to my backside. I do use the small flat extra pillow to float my heel since my leg is so much shorter than the pillow. The bigger flat pillow is good for lift and can also be put under my backside for extra cushioning because I’m sitting so freaking much right now. The nonslip dots on the bottom work well enough on the couch. The only issues I have are that sometimes I’d like to elevate both legs and there’s not quite enough room for that, and that the cats absolutely love the thing. When I don’t need it anymore it will absolutely still be useful as a cat bed. I have learned to turn it over if I’m not using it so I don’t have to fight to get it back. Overall, I think this could be configured to work for almost anyone. It doesn’t get too hot, it first get too hard, and it’ll be useful after my ankle heals. Recommended.

I had knee surgery a week ago and part of my surgeons post-op protocol is 7-10 days 80% bed rest with knee elevated above heart. I used pillows for 2 days and then found this and I am SO GLAD! Pillows kept going flat and needing adjusted. This thing is soft, great quality, sturdy, and comfortable. I never have to adjust it and I stay comfortable all night! Completely upgraded my recovery!

This was a life saver when I had a tri-mal break. I was trying to stack pillow under my foot but wasn’t getting enough elevation. I had extreme swelling between the break and my lupus. This helped me finally get into a comfortable position with my ankle above my heart and it’s sturdy to stay in position while I slept. I love the curved design which allowed me to put a couple 20oz frozen water bottles on each side of my shattered ankle. There’s an extra cushion that’s removable if you need to prop into position. I also really like the handles on the front and sides. I was able to stick a bottle into the side handles to hold my bottle of water upright and the handles on the front made it easy to shift positions while my foot is up. There’s a slant to slide towards your body that gives some extra support. And the fabric is soft but not overly warm. The velcro is strong. No regrets. It made my painful period so much easier.

I bought this for a foot surgery & opened it 1 week prior to ensure it inflated fully. Overall it helps with pain relief when needing to be elevated. However I do wish I would’ve gotten one taller as sometimes the swelling in my foot is so bad that it needs to be raised higher. It’s super soft my dog loves to lay on it too, no odor or anything when I opened it. This is meant for one leg however I can manage to put both of mine on it although that may not be the case for everyone. Overall I’m glad I got it, it does help and I’d recommend it if you’re needing some elevation.

This was perfect for my needs, after surgery I needed to elevate my foot above my nose 24 hours daily for the next few months. The handles are a huge plus, easy to grab to adjust into place where needed. This is well made and durable and doesn't collapse. The high sides and thin wedge kept my leg from slipping which is absolutely amazing. It is very comfortable for my leg too. I would recommend it for everything that needed a lift for your leg. Note: You need 24-48 hours for the pillows to inflate after opening package.

I bought this in preparation for my daughter’s foot surgery and I’m so glad I did. My order arrived quickly and in time for her surgery. The elevated pillow helped with easing her pain in the few days post procedure. The height of the pillow enabled for easier wound after care and she was able to sleep better as her leg stayed in the grooved shape of the pillow. The only recommendation I would make to the pillow is to improve the extra padding strip that can be added in the groove as it didn’t really do much laying flat…I rolled it into a ball and placed it near her ankle to give even more height. I hesitated buying as it seemed a bit pricey for the short period of time she would need to use it but it was one of the best purchases we made to help with her recovery. Highly recommend.

This product looks nothing like what’s pictured. Looks cheap and the “velvet” is baggy off the “memory foam” Does not have 4 individual layers to have different heights, only has 2 layers and a little loose cushion that you can double up, which I assume, is the only way it could count as a 4 layered elevated cushion. The sellers return policy is postage returned back to the USA, which in normal circumstances, the buyer has to pay for. I can’t return in this circumstance as I’m bed bound after surgery and won’t be able to get out until well after the returnable period.

Purchased for Morton’s Neuroma op recovery and it is better than I expected. It’s just the right amount of firmness and I love that I can adjust the height. The little movable foam strip to add extra support to foot (so it doesn’t flop off the side and cause pain) is genius. Highly recommend - way better and safer than using stacked pillows.
