The knobs kit the potentiometer shaft's flat indent correctly, though it would be nice if they were a mm tighter. The white marker is consistent with the units I purchased and easy to read. If they had included the 1.5mm Allen key needed to tighten the set screw, I would have given them 5 stars. These are much better than most of the knobs on the market and a great price.

They fit a standard (not "D") 16mm potentiometer perfectly. Used these for an Alesis 3630 modified with switched gate control. They look "close enough" to the other knobs to blend in.

Get what you pay for. Quality control might be lacking here a bit for the "painting" The white I see on my knob is very "weak" and not as clean as the images or the images that other reviewers show.You know how you have multiple coats when you paint your wall? It looks like they put one very light coat on. Making the black come through the white, so the white line looks grayer instead of white. Not the end of the world but harder to see if you are in dark light.See the picture compared to one of those cheap plastic rotary knobs. ( note all my 10 knobs have this very weak white line)Also, small gripe- but for my rotary knobs I have, The hex screw sits too low on the shaft, so it does not grab the ledge it is supposed to screw against. This might not be the case for all rotary encoders. you just have to have the knob sit higher on the rotary encoder making a less secure fit.

You will need a 1.5mm hex key to secure the knob. For what they're charging, they should have included one in the package.
