My Boston terrier absolutely loved these. Didnt smell terrible, really soft and easy on his teeth, and a perfect bite size for him so it wadnt too small he would choke himself but not to big it took him forever to eat.

Update June of 2026: I’m still buying these. There are too many pets going on strike and complaining if they don’t get their nighttime treat. No Chinese treats. Was looking for US sourced and made, allergen free, and found these little gems. My girls only get one treat a day, so I gotta make it a good one. When I open the bag, they are all tail waggins and mouth lickins with tiny squeals of anticipation. Perfect size - I had also gotten the turkey hearts, but those are too big and I have to cut them up. These duck hearts are awesome, good for them and they love them. Smell is not too off putting like other treats can be, and no sticky residue on my hands. Must have bought well over 30 bags, and will keep doing just that.

These are a special treat for my Chester and he gobbles them up. Because he's so small (under 6 pounds), I break them in half and he still gets a good amount of food and I get to save a bit for next time.

They can't resist it! These are some great treats with a wonderful flavor and natural scent that drives my cats crazy. But I only bought it once because it's a little pricy. I was able to get a huge pack of chicken hearts or livers for only $2. So I started buying those form grocery stores instead.

These freeze dried duck hearts have been a lifesaver for our allergic kitty. Duck is one of the few proteins he can have, and grains as a group are questionable. The first time we ordered these I didn't know what to expect. I was half hoping these nuggets weren't actually avian organs. When you get the bag, it has been vacuum sealed. Extra points for fresh bird hearts? You can see right through the (resealable!!) plastic that these aren't fake bits. They're actual duck hearts, raw and dehydrated whole. They don't have a strong odor like many treats, but there's a faint musky smell to them. It's tolerable. In one bag you'll get about 40-60 duck hearts. There's a lot of variation in the size of the things. WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING Whole dried duck hearts are a choking hazard for cats. Please cut up the hearts, reconstitute, or both. WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING Other than don't feed the hearts whole, you can feed these hearts however your cat wants them. Our allergic kitty prefers them dry and sort of cubed. Our other two kitties (who rarely get a bite of this exquisitely priced treat) prefer the reconstituted version. If your kitty is sick and needs to be coaxed to eat, duck hearts are worth trying. If it's a kitty that typically prefers wet food, you can try sprinkling small bits on top of the regular food -- or slightly mashing up a few rehydrated hearts with water or broth. Keep in mind that duck hearts aren't a 1:1 replacement nutritionally for a normal cat treat. Duck hearts have 30 calories (roughly) per heart and are 60% protein. Most of the single protein cat treats have between 2-4 calories per piece and have "a minimum" of 30% protein. It works out just fine -- I just have trouble not giving the cats too many of these because they love them so much. (If you can get some duck fat for the holidays for a garnish, by the way, your cats will have you knighted.) One more thing: if a child helps feed your cat, be ready to have some conversations about where the ducks that belong the hearts are. Brush up on your heart anatomy too. Kids ask the smartest questions these days! I recommend these duck hearts without reservation and hope that your pets enjoy them as much as ours have.

I bought this product based on healthy snack review for cats on TikTok! Both of my senior cats enjoy them. I cut them into pieces as they are little bit hard for thier teeth and give them as a reward after they take thier medication - wet food mixed with the powder in the capsules (My cats take Aktaivait for dementia from vetplus/ Aprlyic / Calmex). It took more than 2 weeks to be delivered, thats why I am giving them 4 stars. Also, it is pricey! My cats finished them in less than 10 days. I hope they review the price so that I can continue to buy them. Update after 6 months: The price of this product on Amazon keeps fluctuating. I bought it for AED 118, but the next day it jumped to AED 150. I saw it once for AED 107 the minute I added it to my cart it went up. I’ll consider reordering if the price stabilizes and becomes more affordable.
