Great educational toy with lots of variety. The 12 different models keep kids engaged and help develop problem-solving skills. Instructions are mostly clear, though some parts can be a bit fiddly and may need adult help. Build quality is decent for the price. Overall, a fun and worthwhile STEM kit for kids aged 9+ and a lovely birthday gift.

EDIT: seller sent out a newer model with correct white gear and I can confirm the robot now functions as it should and is a great product for kids to enjoy and experiment with different movements of robots. —————— DO NOT BUY! As mentioned in many reviews already, the white gear isn’t large enough to reach the smaller adjoining cog on the green gear part, therefore can’t connect and the wheels of the robot will never turn. This isn’t user error this is a manufacturing fault and the product shouldn’t be sold. I can only think that other positive reviewers haven’t paid attention to the wheels not spinning and have just let their kids build it and thought the final build looked good. Either this or they received functioning gear boxes. I’ve added an image to show the fault. I’m out of warranty now as it was bought for a Christmas so just wasted money.

This is a toy for children . My grandson is 8 and can do these models well. The instructions for this model are the most ridiculously confusing ive ever seen. We have ( adults) tried 6 or 7 times to try and build it can it is impossible. So frustrating....it was a christmas gift...and a complete waste of money. I would like my money back

Bought for our child's 8th birthday, and he loves it! It isn't too easy, or too difficult, but certainly keeps him engaged and his brain occupied. He often does a little bit each day, and loves to show us the progress he has made on whichever element he has been working on. It can require a small amount of grown-up help, but often just with making sure parts are aligned correctly. With lots of different ways to build, it is a fantastic buy, as it will last them for more than just a few days, as lots of gifts often do!

I bought this for a gift for my son’s best friend and he absolutely loves it,so creative and great gift! Will buy again !

Great product, bought as gift for my 8 year old nephew, he was very excited when opened his gift and was looking forward to play with it at home. Don’t have much details or pictures of the results, but heard from parents he was really happy with his gift! Would buy again for children this age

We bought this for our grandson. It suggests for child of 8 years old. But this item is much to difficult for a child even after 10. It soon becomes en item for grandpa, and he found out the wheels which are built the essential motor were to small, they can not fit to each other so that they can't work together to carry out the basic function. It is a useless item and we are very disappointed.
