CCSP Certified Cloud Security Professional All-in-One Exam Guide, Third Edition

Must read for CCSP aspirants

I used about 5 different textbooks to prep for CCSP, and this was one of them. Good content. I think it's best to read a few different books because some will cover one thing but not another. This one helped me pass.

I used only this book and passed the CCSP. It was a hard test I'll admit, but this helped quite a bit. I have a lot of background in IT, but it's 98% on prem. You don't have to have significant Azure or AWS experience to pass the exam. The electronic practice tests helped a bunch as well as the main practice questions. Overall, good pick for a preparation book.

A must have for the exam

This is a study guide: it has to be dry and short. Concentrated on only essentials. We realize that making a condensed book on CCSP, which presents a rather generic approach to cloud security, is a challenge. We believe, the author failed to achieve it: almost .5K pages of unspecific content does not help the reader. Just one example.: "the cloud environment will be the target of far more sophisticated and coordinated attempts to compromise it". This is a waste of ink and an unnecessary ballast. While this guide covers all relevant topics, studying by this book takes extra unwarranted time.

The cover advertises the book as "All-in-One is All You Need." This was not the case for me, as I read the whole book a number of times, and I had a passing rate of 90%+ in the enclosed exam tests. Yet, I failed the exam. Keep in mind I am a certified professional cloud security engineer with all three main cloud service providers, so I am not starting from scratch. The book gave me the false impression to be ready for the exam. I will prepare with the online classes from Gwen Bettwy and use her book "CCSP Cloud Guardians" as main reference.

Studying in progress, glanced and found it very useful.
