It's overpriced here for sure. Most "Cost Plus: World Market" locations carry this product, for around $8.89 currently. If you have a Cost Plus near you, get it there instead.

How does this compair to dunkin donuts caramel swirl?

Haven't tried Dunkin' brand sauce. Comparing ingredients alone, Torani sauce contains heavy cream and butter, and Dunkin' uses milk/light cream. From that, I would guess Torani is richer in flavor/feel. It's authentic caramel. I love the stuff and use it for more than coffee. It works amazingly well on all kinds of things. Ice cream, cake, cocktails, fruit dip, etc.

What does this taste like compared to the gherdelli caramel sauce?

I have not tried the Ghiradeli sauce, but this has a very good caramel flavor.
