Does the Mea Ola sandal run true to size, and should I size up or down if I am between sizes?

The Mea Ola typically runs slightly small. Most customers find the best fit by sizing up, especially if between sizes or preferring a relaxed feel. The leather will gradually soften and conform to your foot, improving comfort and fit over time.

How should the Mea Ola sandals fit when you first put them on, and what should you expect during the break-in period?

When first worn, the Mea Ola sandals should feel secure with a slightly snug fit, especially across the straps and toe post. This firmness is intentional, as the leather is designed to provide support and durable, long-lasting wear.

Are the Mea Ola sandals comfortable enough for extended walking or all-day wear once they are broken in?

Yes, once broken in, the Mea Ola becomes highly comfortable for extended wear. The anatomical footbed and built-in arch support help reduce fatigue, and most users notice a significant improvement in comfort after the break-in period.

Can the Mea Ola sandals be worn in water or used for beach and ocean activities?

The Mea Ola is best for dry, casual wear. It can handle light shoreline use but is not for prolonged water exposure or submersion. Repeated water contact may impact the appearance and long-term durability of the premium leather.

What makes the Mea Ola sandal a premium product compared to standard flip-flops?

The Mea Ola is made with premium full-grain leather, handcrafted detailing, and an anatomical footbed for support and comfort. It is designed to mold to your foot over time and deliver long-lasting durability and value with proper care.

Great sandal!

Seems like the sandals fit different. This is my 4th pair and the flip flops have gotten tighter through the years. Good quality and stylish!

Been back and forth about dropping the money on these. Glad I did it! My second purchase from Olukai and love both.

Totally worth it

These are very comfortable sandals. They run a size small in the larger sizes. I’m normally a 13 and had to order a 14. I would definitely recommend these sandals.
