I got a new phone last year that switched to USB-C and suddenly like half my cables and chargers were useless. I've got old USB-A cables everywhere - in my car, at my desk, next to my bed, in my travel bag. Perfect! These work great. All the new products are going to “C” ports. I need to use a USB port in my car as well as many other places. I needed to charge a device on a flight the other day but they only had USB ports so I used one of these and it worked perfectly. I have bought these twice and shared.

I have an Audi Q5 2018. There is no MMI update for the infotainment system. A USB cord is necessary for MMI to use Apple Car Play. The Audi has a standard USB port in the console. I recently upgraded to IPhone 16’s. They would not connect to the MMI Apple Car Play for more than a few seconds using a standard USB C to USB cord which was promoted as compatible. It was supposed to make the IPhone 16 visible to the MMI. No such luck. I bought these adapters so that I could use a USB C cord on both ends. I put the adapter in the console port. Worked like a charm. Saved me a lot of frustration.

The three-pack is very handy to scatter between bags, desks, and chargers, and they’ve worked well for basic charging and OTG use with various devices. The compact, plug-style design keeps things tidy without extra cable length getting in the way, and the fit at both ends feels snug and secure without being hard to plug or unplug. My only minor knock is that they’re small enough to misplace easily, but in terms of build quality and function, they’ve done exactly what I needed.
