Good reliable Nesting pads. They work as advertised. They smell fine - until they don't haha. But they last a while before needing to be changed out. I sometimes sprinkle some dried herbs and edible flowers on them to keep them fresh smelling longer. My nesting boxes are a weird dimension so they are a little short for my box BUT this is the size of almost every nesting pad i see, so thats a problem with my coop design and NOT the pads themselves. Great product overall.

I do like these pads. Whether ,my chicken like them is still a mystery. They are still laying but they have took some of the pads and pulled it in their house. It is drug all over their hen house. I like the cleanliness of wood, than the plastic we were using. I have only been using them for 2 weeks, so we shall see how they do over a 6 mths period.

I absolutely love these nesting pads! My hens refused to lay eggs in their nesting boxes no matter what kind of pads or bedding I tried. They kept laying their eggs outside in little nests made of dry leaves between the trees. I finally found these, and they were the perfect solution. My chickens started using their nesting boxes again right away. They seem much more comfortable, and the pads are easy to keep clean too. So happy I found these!

Ok, so I'm still fairly new to chickens. My girls have been laying since late August. I do have a large rollout nestbox but not everyone likes to lay in it. So I added a few milk crates in the coop and I purchased these nest pads to place in the bottom of the crates. When I first took one out of the box, it seemed a bit flat but the fibers seemed to be soft and looked comfy. Well, let me tell you. The ladies love these! They can scratch around, fluff and shape them to their heart's content. After several days I can simply remove the soiled top layer of fibers (my youngest ladies sometimes wanna sleep in the boxes at night and of course...poop lol) and there is still plenty of padding left for them. My eggs are actually a lot cleaner and I notice less damaged eggs. I will definitely be purchasing these again!

These are great for keeping out eggs clean - we live in a very muddy area and that has been an issue in the past. A little pricy, but they last a long time with our hens and they can’t kick them out of the nesting boxes!
