Waterproof Case for DJI Avata - Explorer Combo/Pro/Fly Smart Combo & Accessories (Carry Case Only) - Not for DJI AVATA 2, Black

I like my drones. I want crashing to be the reason they break, not getting smashed by a luggage handler at an airport. I have another drone that I got a Nanuk case for, and it's on par with a Pelican case. This case is like 90% of my Nanuk, but almost half the price. Why didn't I just get another Nanuk you ask? Well they didn't cut their foam insert to use the space as efficiently for the Avata pro view combo, and they even used a larger model case too. So larger case for a drone that's smaller, admittedly with more accessories, for a slightly higher price and more dead space? Nope nope nope. Plus I found this gem and took a chance! It's use of space is excellent, and it fits everything plus more. The foam is nice and rigid, but has a soft texture. The shell's plastic seems pretty good, but time will tell. Waterproofing gasket seems fine, but hoping to never test that feature. Most importantly though, the handle is excellent and the latches and hinges seem really good. The latches are definitely less than Nanuk or Pelican, but the design seems reliable. Here's hoping the material holds up in the long term. Lastly, the size is just a little bigger than my Air2s drone's Nanuk case. The only negative is the foam is chemical level smelly when you first open it. I let mine air out for the afternoon and evening, and brought it inside before I went to bed. After that it has been fine! Seriously, get this for your Avata pro view combo. It's better than the more expensive options, and whatever Amazon recommends. See you in the skys people.

Everything fits good. I was even able to fit my mini 2 in with the avata👍

I am going to stop buying fitted cases as they only fit the basic setup with no extras that any change in size of the drone. In the photo you can see I cut out the corner foam and now the drone fits with landing gear and bumper guards. I also cut the goggle side piece out, fitting the Integra goggle battery pack better. That takes care of the basics, but still room for other accessories and extras. I will probably cut a battery compartment separator out to put other small items. The case makers need to think beyond the basic setup...

... and Everything in it's Place. Love this. Been looking for something to store my drone and someone made one especially for it. You can remove the foam and put your license paperwork underneath, and you'll run out of spots to put things if you have all the 'things'. But the lid doesn't sit tight, and there are spaces between the 'things' to put smaller items, so that works too. And for less than $100... can't argue.

its quite a bit bigger than my case from same manufacturer for my Air2 drone - was surprised. Same great quality/fit though - very secure. too large to slip this into my backpack though - but also not sure i would change anything - good value!

The Avata system works so well with this case, including both controls and a USB charger. I highly recommend this case. Very tough and the latch system seems very tough.

Ich habe den Stauraum des Koffers mittlerweile recht stark ausgereizt und bekomme unter: - die Drohne mit Akku - 4 weitere Drohnenakkus - 4er Akkuladegerät - 1er Akkuladegerät - USB-Kabel - 6 Propeller mit Schrauben und dem Inbusschlüssel - 2 weitere microSD-Karten - FPV Controller - Motioncontroller - 65w Charger (von One Plus) - Freewell ND Filter Set - 2 Akkus für die Brille - Goggles 2 mit Kabel Der Koffer macht auch von der Verarbeitung her einen sehr soliden Eindruck. Sollte er irgendwann Mal kaputt gehen würde ich ihn mir wieder kaufen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt hier einfach. Ich kann das Set jedem empfehlen, der gerne alles für seine Avata geordnet beisammen hat.

You can fit everything in it and it's well built

It is actually a really nice case for the Avata, this was the only case I found which can hold both the motion controller and the regular controller. The case feels sturdy and looks like it will protect the content well. A few minor things, since it is made for 2 different type of goggles, the goggles V2 could fit a bit better, without the strap it fits okay, but with the strap it doesn't fit that well, you just have to push it a bit. There is also not really a fixed space for the cables. And lastly the holes for the propellors could be a tiny bit larger, with the plastic bag they come in it doesn't quite fit.

The case is well made and has classic pelican case style robustness. It has nice foam inserts for all DJI AVATA v1 equipment, but could be cut to fit any drone. Much needed if you want a sturdy take-off base as well for those travel shots.
