Great bulbs, can't go wrong with Philips
Great bulbs for a ceiling fan! I have multiple ceiling fans in my house that use A21 bulbs, and was looking for the brightest daylight bulbs I could purchase to install in them. There were some higher lumen bulbs available, but I wanted bulbs with "long" emitters that weren't directional since I have standard 8 foot ceilings and needed some light scatter rather than straight down projection. These bulbs effectively spread light over a wide area and were compatible with all of the open globe fan lights in the house. They are too large to fit into fans that have a glass case over the bulb, so validate the size of the bulbs before installation. Color rendering is very good, and thus far the bulbs have lasted over a year without any issues. The bulbs I used prior to these had issues with flickering when certain appliances were used such as our inverter air conditioner, and after validating the household electrical supply and grounding did not have issues, I decided to try changing to a different light bulb. This light bulb solved the flickering issue, so I'd highly recommend giving these a try if you are experiencing such issues.

For Specific Use Cases and People Like Me
Looking for bulbs that are super bright, have a white point close to that of actual daylight, and have decently accurate color rendering? This is it!First, they're bright. 1600 lumens is usually the upper limit of typical light bulbs you find at a store. I definitely recommend using these with some sort of diffusion, such as a lamp shade or filter, as they do not have any diffusion of their own (clear class instead of frosted). You do not want to have a direct line of sight with them. Most bulbs claiming to have a 5000k daylight white point simply have a boosted blue rendering, with very inaccurate rendering otherwise, but these actually look pretty close to true 5000k daylight, which appears slightly greener than typical 5000k bulbs. This is a great thing in my book, but if you like the artificial blue tint of typical 5000k bulbs (which does have its charm), these aren't for you. White point aside, as far as pure color rendering goes, I honestly can only tell an ever-so-slight difference between these and typical 80 CRI LEDs, but I'm not sure if I have a keen eye for that to be honest.I recorded a slo-mo of these lights in 240hz to observe the flicker intensity of these bulbs, and it is one of the mildest I've ever seen (a good thing). I only use them without a dimmer, so YMMV. I turned on one of these bulbs in one corner of the room, a regular (not ultra definition) philips non-dimmable bulb in another corner, a great value (walmart brand) non-dimmabe bulb in another corner, and a shop light in the last corner. I then recorded a slo-mo in 240hz and turned to focus on each one. The shop light flickered so intensely, the camera's auto-exposure was going haywire. The great value bulb also flickered pretty intensely, but not as bad. The normal philips bulb flickered much less, about have as much. Finally, this bulb flickered slightly less than the normal philips, the least of all of them. (They're all 1600 lumens. I swapped the bulbs in the lamps and repeated the process and the results were the same.)I can't install reccessed can lighting in my room, so I put these in floor lamps to illuminate my home work space, and they do the job wonderfully.

Like high def for your eyes
These bulbs have a great CR rating. Really makes colors stand out. You don't know what your missing with a typical LED bulb until you try these.Good value for the money, most cr95 bulbs cost a lot more. No flicker and are compatible with standard sockets.

These are the bulbs.
This is the first LED lamp I have tried that doesn’t make me long for an incandescent replacement. Most of the spectrum is present to some degree. There are no surprises illuminating painted surfaces, the light gets “warmer” as you dim it and there is no discernible flicker.I no longer feel the need to hoard incandescent bulbs. I hope they keep improving these, filling out the spectrum even more completely, but good work so far.

Eye comfort technology. High CRI (color rendering index) of 95.
This lightbulb is indeed easy on the eyes. It has an unusually high CRI (color rendering index) of 95, making things in the room that is being lighted appear more realistic looking in terms of their color. I wanted to give 4 and 3/4 stars, but there is no such option. I would omly give 5 stars for a light bulb that has a CRI of 100.

They break, and break, and break...
I've never had Philips LEDs that break like this, and I have a lot of Philips LEDs. They'll be fine at first, start flickering after a few weeks to months, and then fail. Every single time. I thought I just got unlucky, but after going through 4 boxes of them because they kept failing, I give up. They are properly screwed in, reside in a normal environment that is well within their recommended operating conditions, and in sockets where I've never had other LEDs fail, yet still fail every single time. One of them failed after it seemingly got moisture in it (the bulb was foggy), but the other 7 or so that have failed had no apparent "breach." Philips should probably check in with whoever manufacturers these because they are just cheaply made, poor quality bulbs -- plain and simple.

Super Bright
I was looking for some brighter LED bulbs for the front of my house. I had some previous bulbs that had a lower Lumen output. So I picked these because they were much higher lumens. Boy, did I pick the right bulbs if I was looking for brightness as these are quite blinding. For me this is not a bad thing it is what I was looking for. These have been operating for a couple of months now and we will see what their longevity is over time.
User
First impression. I really like this bulb.
I like this bulb has a full glass enclosure just like the old standard incandescent. That means that in a ceiling fixture with the bulb sideways you don't have a dark shadow line created by a wide plastic base.Cons I can think of is this is a larger size bulb. It is an A21 which is bigger than an A19 so could limit fit in some applications. Also it is not for use in totally enclosed fixtures.I have a 4 bulb fixture with 4 of these lamps and it really lights up the room. These are not on a dimmer so can't comment on that yet. Definitely will be purchasing more of these.

Está bien
Una bombilla sin más, hace el trabajo y ya está.

Fantastic CRI/Color and dimmable without flickering or buzzing.
Philips makes the best dimmable led bulbs hands down... why they are very expensive I guess. Would be nice if they brought down their prices a little. But I do love them.
