The Goldspatz spaetzle lid with scraper offers an easy and authentic way to prepare homemade spaetzle or knoepfle noodles. The lid fits pots with a diameter of 24-28 cm (9-11 inches) and comes with a practical plastic scraper. Made of durable stainless steel, it is designed for long-lasting use and easy cleaning. A recipe for traditional Swabian spaetzle as well as helpful application tips are included, so you can enjoy this classic dish with minimal effort. After use, the spaetzle lid and scraper can be cleaned conveniently in the dishwasher. Goldspatz part number: 2202 - Material: stainless steel (lid), plastic (scraper). Review: Works great - My wife and I had never made spaetzle before. We researched the various options and decided on this one rather than the ones that have a tub moving along a track. Works very well. Fits properly over the pan we used in which we had water just off the boil. We did not encounter issues with too much heat resulting in burning of batter on to the spaetzle maker - top or bottom, or fingers. Extremely easy clean-up which wouldn't be the case with the tub type. We used the recipe that came with the spaetzle maker, but will likely try some of the other readily available recipes. Spaetzle drops through the holes and quickly rises to the surface of the water. A German friend of ours uses the "press" type, which is quite a bit more expensive, but there is less cleanup with this one and it works extremely well. I chose the Goldspatz Spaetzle maker over cheaper varieties because it is SS and i suspect of thicker material. It is very sturdy - I would purchase the same one again. Very pleased! So far I've used it twice. I'm giving it 4 stars only because the end product was amazing. This lid is a bit cumbersome to use if the dough is really sticky. I'm still working on refining the recipe so can't fault the lid yet. It does get hot and the scraper feels too flexible. Between rounds of batter I keep scraper and lid in a bath of cold water. I can't compare against other devices that look easier to use after further research. Hoping this will get easier as my dough and process is refined. In reality a 3 to 3-1/2 at the moment but I felt generous after eating the incredible Spaetzle at the end.

works ok, need gloves for safety. IMHO
well made, stainless steel, fits snug onto pot. I used this twice and the hot steam comes up through holes. I wear heat resistant gloves as a precaution.

Great kitchen tool
Love that this one function tool is small enough to take up so little room. Had some trouble getting the hang of how to use it, but it worked perfectly despite my ineptitude. It's a keeper.

The item gets very hot so burnt my fingers and also the batter dries onto it which means you have to wash it half way through. Not great...

Ich habe es einmal benutzt und bin sehr zufrieden. Leicht zu bedienen und meine Knöplie sind sehr gut geworden. Der Schaber ist etwas dünn und ich werde einen anderen nehmen. Werde ich aber trotzdem empfehlen.
