Concrete Donut for a Rotary Head Half, Large, Green

I have ordered three of these donuts over the years and let me tell you, the packaging was excellent and the placement of each donut helps keep the sprinkler heads from being broken off at the riser.

After reading the reviews, I packed 8 inches of paver bedding sand underneath which gave it a solid foundation which will resist cracking or breaking under a tire. It looks much better than anything else I could find. Though expensive, it included shipping (concrete) and should not need replacing anytime soon.

Even a large size doesn't fit around a Rainbird sprinkler head.

Product arrived chipped. Put a lot of paper in box for cushioning, but should have used custom foam or air packets. For the price, should have done better. Chip was on bottom so I ended up using the product. Made of concrete, hopefully will last awhile.

This half donut does not have the strength of the full concrete donut. I purchased both. The full donuts are holding up really well, even when I drive over them with a Ford F-350. The half donut is broken in about 5 pieces. It just doesn't have the strength. you are better off digging up the sprinkler head and moving it away from the sidewalk, driveway or whatever thing is in the way. Then use a full donut.

The only issue I have with these ims is, they cost the same as a full doughnut.

Needs to be isolated in the box and wrapped to prevent chipping of the edges.
