Yes- I actually bought something to massage my hair- silly you may say, but this thing feels so good. Initially bought this product because I was experiencing postpartum hair loss in mass amounts. Then I read that something so simple as massaging your scalp twice a day can help fix that! So I bought this nifty gadget. IT IS WAY BETTER THAN ANYTHING your hands can do! It feels like 4 people are massaging your head at the same time. The bristles are soft and firm. Almost sponge like. Just know that it feels VERY GOOD. Hair types- I have thick hair and it works wonders for me, my daughter (toddler age) has fine hair and she seems to love it too. Dandruff- if you have any dandruff, this thing will take it out. That can be good or bad. If you have dark hair and you use this before work, you will see flakes in your hair. I recommend using it before you shower so that all flakes can be washed away leaving your head/hair nice and clean. The handle is extremely easy to hold. I love the design. Easy to use and your hands won't get tired. Did it help with my hair re-growth? Possibly- I did this in combination with biotin and hair oil and I have a whole line of baby hair on my forehead. Even if this was not the sole reason for my hair growth, at least it feels good, and cleans my scalp super well.

I picked this up because my youngest had dandruff, and wanted to try something for massaging scalps first. I’ve had itchy scalp for years, but with straight hair, found thorough brushing was enough to keep flakes and itches at bay. I didn’t count on how much I would love this and use it. I like to wash my hair in the bath, and my hair is so thick and shoulder length that it’s hard to get it clean without a ton of shampoo. Enter this “brush.” It’s soft rubbery plastic, and the tongs are more like dull fangs - they’re the size of candy corn. I use a normal amount of shampoo and lather up my scalp. Then I massage my scalp with this brush, and it’s delightful and builds up a good lather. Then I use that lather on my longer hair, rinse, and use the brush to comb through my hair after I put conditioner on. Rinse again, comb through with the brush one last time, and put it on the shower shelf. It never needs cleaning because I of how far apart the tongs are. Everyone in my family now uses it because it feels so great on the scalp, and hair feels very clean and soft afterward. And yes, it instantly got rid of my son’s flaking scalp. His hair is so thick that it was hard for him to massage his scalp with his fingers, and face it, he’s a guy, so “massage” sounds silly to him. Using this brush, though, and seeing how it makes the lather thicker and it feels so good - well, that’s more than enough to get him on board. It is a silly thing. I would have never bought it even after seeing it on Buzzfeed, except that the reviews are great and it’s inexpensive. Even if I weren’t a bath person, even if my hair weren’t crazy thick, I’d get it just for the pleasure of a simple scalp massage. Especially now with Covid that I can’t really get that terrific scalp massage at my salon. I love it, and highly recommend to anyone, male or female.

This is a great scalp massager! The silicone bristles are soft and comfortable and do an excellent job massaging my scalp. The handle is very sturdy and easy to hold. The whole massager is quite durable. I’ve had it for 6 years, and it still looks brand new and is no worse for the wear. It’s easy to wash and use. Because it is light weight, I can keep it hanging from a hook in my shower. The aqua color is fun and bright. I highly recommend this product and think it’s a great value for the money. It would make a great stock8ng stuffer!

I’ve suffered with dry, flaking scalp for about a year now (pretty much started when I was pregnant and hadn’t gone away). I have used tea tree oil shampoo, dandruff shampoo, coconut oil, you name it. I finally read somewhere that exfoliating the scalp might help, but I was hesitant because years ago, I had a shampoo brush and it was very rigid and the bristles were fine and close together and it made my hair a tangled mess. Anyway, I saw this shampoo brush and it looked a lot more flexible so I thought I’d give it a try and HOLY MOLY my flakes are gone! It’s made out of a silicone-type material and the little “bristles” are flexible but still get the job done. I can literally brush my hair with shampoo in and it doesn’t get tangled. It’s amazing. Not only do I have zero flakes now, I feel like using this does a way better job at working the shampoo in and getting your hair and scalp really clean. I have super thick hair and no matter how much shampoo I use or how long I scrub my hair, I felt like the back, underneath part of my hair would sometimes stay dirty. This brush gets all that. I will also add that if you’re dealing with dry scalp (not dandruff) use a shampoo brush, don’t go long betweeen shampoos (I had to bump mine up to every other day), take a good quality fish oil, and drink LOTS of water.

OMG, this brush is GREAT. I have a lingering itch that even my hair stylist can’t locate when washing my hair. I purchased this item ONLY BECAUSE IT LOOKED WEIRD. I have quite a few scalp massagers & shampoo brushes. But NONE work like my new BFF yet weird looking friend here. The bristles are different and some are even rectangular shape BUT this is the BEST scalp brush that I have ever used. It literally takes care of the itch, massage, etc. I WILL be purchasing more just to have an extra on hand. Love love LOVE IT!

I read a lot of the reviews on this product before I purchased it, and I was a little worried after I saw someone with a bald spot, but felt it was still worth a shot. I can honestly say I’m glad I gave it a chance! I was so excited for this item to show up that I opened it as soon as it arrived and gave it a go on my dry hair. I was careful not to drag it through the length of my hair, or create tangles and knots, simply using it against my scalp with gentle pressure in small circles. It felt nice and no hair got stuck, so after gently trying it a few more times in a couple more spots, I felt comfortable enough to try it when my hair was wet (read: more fragile). I applied shampoo to the roots of my hair and then grabbed this, using it the same way I did with my dry hair, carefully, small circles with gentle pressure, all over my scalp, not dragging it through the length of my hair. It felt great, worked wonderfully, and I didn’t find a single hair on it when I pulled it away from my head. Overall it seems to work great, no issues, no hair loss, great experience. I can’t complain and will be happy to use this again in the future. So far I have only used this item two times, so I can’t speak to longevity. I do see where the item might allow some water to collect in it, which might result in mold/mildew issues. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for it. As I use the item if I experience issues I will update the review!

It’s started falling apart after eight years. But the other scalp massager that I bought from a different brand around this time is doing perfectly fine.

Though I have received black colored item, the purpose is solved. Make and functionality are upto the mark. The bristles are soft and sturdy. Only thing is when you can't deliver what you promised, then mention as "random color item will be sent". Otherwise it's good product.

I have very dry scalp and struggle with a flakiness and product build up. This item really helps to exfoliate my head and clean it thoroughly.

The silicone bristles are very soft, feels like a lovely scalp massage. Really helps to deep clean my hair, just be careful to not use circular motions as it can cause tangles. I just go side to side or up and down and move around the head whilst shampooing. Works great! Love the colour and the ergonomic grip, feels very comfortable to hold with grooves for your fingers and thumb.
