NEWDERY Switch Dock for Nintendo Switch/Switch OLED

I love this portable dock for my nintendo switch, I've been using it non stop for all my vacations I go on. It fits perfectly with my travel case, I officially love that it has more usb ports for my joycon chargers and my pro controller. It takes some getting use to pushing the button for tv mode, but after getting the hang of it after two tries, I like it because I can leave my main dock at home without having to take the bulk of everything. Thank you.

It’s perfect for connecting your Nintendo switch to your TV and the device itself. It’s perfect for charging when you’re away from home,it’s compact and travel friendly,and it also makes a perfect stand even if you’re not charging. What’s not to love?

I say 50/50 on this because with the dock I received YouTube refuses to work at all. The console warns me of not having the correct HDCP. I contacted the seller a few days ago to figure out if it’s all or just my unit broke somehow, no answer yet. It’s not a big issue for me but for some people maybe. No, lie this thing is really small and lite. I would recommend this for traveling only not as a home dock replacement because of cable management. The USB3 port should be on the very back this would be better for those of us that use LAN adapters. If you do use it at home as a secondary dock for another tv or full on replacement take into consideration of your cable runs and possibly use 3M tape or command strips to hold it down in place, the USB C port has a stronger grip and will over come the weight of the dock when you try to remove the console. Also works very well for table top mode too. Because of the small issues this dock has shown me I would only say buy this if you have a very jet set related lifestyle. It’s best for niche lifestyles like that. Edit 10 July 2024 DO NOT BUY THIS DOCK!!! If you do or are planning on buying one this can cause an issue with the battery. It completely failed to charge causing me to think that this morning the whole console had failed. You have been warned!!!!

So I originally bought this other adapter when I first bought my Switch years ago. After moving I think it got lost in the process and the idea of having my switching in the original Dock where it'll overheat irks me so I decided to buy this. I love it even more than the adapter I lost. It's minimal and super easy to travel with! Used it to plug it to my tv and it works just as great as the dock and adapter I have (or had).

The docking station is not compatible with my tv or my monitor screen. the resolution is very pixelated and i tried different cords, different tv and monitor settings and nothing fixed the resolution. I think what’s happening is unlike the original docking station, instead of readjusting it to the display that it is connected to, it mirrors without adjustment. i would send it back but i threw away the box it came in. So if you don’t mind about resolution, it’s cheap and compact for traveling but not good visual quality.

The Pro: it is very compact, and technically does both things a console dock should, charge and stream video. The con: the dock will either stream video to your monitor OR charge your Switch, not both at the same time. The button on top does easily change between the two, but if you want something that will do both at once, look elsewhere.

I was a bit worry before I placed my order when I saw many one star but decided to give it a try as Amazon's return policy. I am glad I did. There is a little round button at the back; make sure you press it so nintendo switch video out go to HDMI. It took me a while to realize that.

I like this dock because you can use your monitor, or use the switch screen. While using the switch screen the speakers are exposed and not covered up so it sounds great.

Made it a replacement for my original dock for my switch,I bought this dock over a year ago & works amazing,still charges,still works connecting to TV the 4K visuals amazing works amazing with a 4k TV,I highly recommend buying a second adapter for it that way you can play on multiple TVs,the most amazing part is it doesn't budge when removing Switch from dock

UPDATE: the company reached out to me and sent a replacement. So far it's been working well. Happy with their customer service. I changed my review rating based on their service ☺️ Stopped working in less than 6 months

every switch owner knows the struggle of having to bring a switch designated bag for their dock! when I would travel or even trying to play in another room of the house, it's a task do drag a whole dock. I've had my eye on docks for awhile but couldnt justify spending that kind of money, so here i go around the house with a whole bag just for switch paraphernalia. this is cheap and so small, i'm in love. this is small, lightweight, and is of the same graphical quality as the full dock. my only request, make the port a little deeper and wider. I did have to take my clear case off the switch to dock it. which is no different than having to take the case off my joycons to use a controller. its all just superficial inconvenience. wonderful product, will definitely recommend to others. might even invest in another for my daughters room

I have now purchased this item twice - first time I thought perhaps it was just a faulty item and got a refund from Amazon. Now I have the exact same issue - the unit won’t even light up. I know the original Nintendo Switch adapter is working properly as it will charge the Switch when directly plugged in. I am at a complete loss and have emailed the manufacturer in hopes they will provide a working solution.
