Quality
This is my third purchase for Jeep TJ. Simple to install, good design, and well made. As everyone knows, or should know, the Jeep TJ OEM linkage is poorly designed making for difficult shifts when trying to move into Low, Neutral,or High 4X4. These cable shifters make shifting into 4X4 options smooth / easy.

Perfect fit for 97 Jeep Wrangler
This fit perfect on my 97 jeep wrangler. Easy to install also with a bit of help from a you tube video. I highly recommend paying a little extra and getting this cable instead of the cheaper ones. The OEM linkage was a bad design and these cables are the only way to go. They should have used cables in the first place.

Pricy but effective in solving transfer case shifting issues
Positive: It works great. My Jeep TJ had been lifted with the transfer case lowered by a previous owner. It often would pop out of 4x4 at the most inopportune time. When I adjusted the linkage to hit a solid low range the shifter would subsequently bind and stick in gear. Now my jeep no longer pops out of gear and easily shifts between 2wd, high/low 4x4. As an additional benefit, it no longer grinds when shifting. Negative: no instructions with kit, however plenty of videos on u tube FYI: Skid plate must be removed to install this kit.

Try to have two, or at least one 15/16 stubby wrench when tightening the adjustment nut!!
Basically very easy to install! Working as expected, totally happy with this product!!

Great Product - Tough Install
I bought this for my 05 Jeep TJ after the factory linkage was so sloppy and worn out I could not get the transfer case into 4x4. I was very impressed with the construction and hardware included in the kit. I did the install in one day by myself. The instructions could use some help! I am a very mechanically inclined person and this took me almost all day. If I had some help it would have gone faster and easier, but you do what you have to. Once installed the linkage runs smooth and shifts accurately into all gears. I am impressed and pleased with the product.

Good shifter!
Let's me shift my 2003 jeep tj quickly and easily! When I got my sye my stock linkage was terrible and wouldn't let me shift, this one is buttery smooth and worth its weight in gold.

Great Product, No Instructions
No instructions with it, but after a tiny bit to looking where it goes and online pictures I figured it out. Works great. Replaced my factory setup that had my 4wd pop out of place. Some photos have it already put together, but mine wasn't put together.

Great upgrade!
Great upgrade from the stock shift linkage. Shifting into 4WD is smooth with very good tactile feedback that you're definitely engaged in each mode. The old linkage I removed had semi-seized bushings/joints that was making it a fight 1 out of 4 times I was trying to shift into 4WD and back. Install was straightforward. Mine didn't have instructions in the box but was able to e-mail them for a copy. You can follow the install instructions from the Novak cable and it's basically the same, this one does NOT have rubber bushings for the bracket on the tub and it's not supposed to. There's also good YouTube videos (BleepinJeep has a very clear install) that show how everything goes together. You don't "have" to drop your skid plate to do this install but it makes it much easier. You can also detach your driveshaft to give yourself more space if you want. I dropped the plate but left the driveshaft in. As far as adjustments go, I left the nuts in the middle of each attachment point and haven't had to adjust it. I'm still at stock height but I can tell this is going to work great no matter what I may lift it to since it's a cable and not a geometric linkage/joints.
