Works! (I want a 43" version too! Make it!)
purchased in JUL '22, I've used this item on 3 separate occasions over the last 2 years. Very handy! I just wish they offered a longer, slightly stiffer version too (because I want one, not because I've needed one. Ever.) But hey, this 36.75" version hasn't failed me yet. I am no professional. I just watched a professional open my door once in about 2 minutes then charge me $100, and I thought, "hmm, that looked easy." Turns out, that's because it is. Get this loop grabber tool, a plastic wedge, 1-2 air shims, and a 40-50" all-metal car door handle/lever opener and you'll figure it out with a couple of online vids and 30 minutes. Wedge door open, insert shim & inflate until your grabber tool fits thru the door seal. Just don't bend your door or overstress your door catch where the body meets the door by the outer handle. Common sense and observation will tell you if you're overdoing it. Or, at least it did, for me and my '05 dodge ram 1500 ST 4wd 5.2L Quad Cab. I've unlocked front door twice& back door once with zero problems.
