There is really no excuse for a book on world cultures and geography to have so few pictures! I shouldn't have judged a book by its cover. My son wanted a book on different cultures, and based on the cover this book looked like it would be well-illustrated. It's not; most of the photos are small and there aren't that many. The text is also dry-- a lot more on economy than culture and traditions.
