A bit smaller in diameter than ideal for my oversized dock lines, but does the job to protect them. Handy things!

FRAUD ALERT. It's not what it claims to be.
Like the title says.. This is a fraudulent item. It's not a dock line chaffe sleeve guard in any way shape or form. It's literally just Velcro... Flat velcro that can be used for anything.. except a dock line sleeve. Not only will this fraudulent item not protect your dock lines... It will most certainly do damage to them or your boat.

Its just velcro - not really a chafing sleeve. Concrete ate right through it in one day.

This is just four strips of two-sided velcro that are 3-7/8" wide by about 24" long, and 1/8" thick. I guess the idea is you wrap it around your rope with enough overlap to hold the cylindrical shape. Does seem sturdy enough to hold up for a season. But I'm concerned the "hook and loop" side of the velcro will chafe whatever it rubs against (e.g. the line you're protecting if inward, or adjacent lines if oriented outward). Not sure I will use it. I wish they just told you in the description that it's velcro.
