Perfect Keto-Friendly Unflavored Whey Protein
I started using this whey protein a few months ago and Iโve already reordered it multiple times. Each scoop gives 25g of protein with low calories, which fits perfectly into my keto lifestyle. I love that itโs completely unflavored and unsweetened โ it blends easily into smoothies, coffee, or recipes without changing the taste. The texture is smooth, and it doesnโt feel gritty at all. Another big plus is the clean ingredient list: no artificial sweeteners or additives. Itโs easy to digest and works well for daily use. Overall, this is a versatile, high-quality protein that I plan to continue using. Highly recommended for anyone on keto or looking for a clean, neutral protein powder.

Best protein
Unflavored protein powder is honestly underrated. Itโs one of those things you donโt fully appreciate until you want control over taste. What I like most is the flexibility. On its own, itโs clean and neutralโno artificial sweetness, no overpowering flavorโjust straight protein. That makes it perfect when you donโt want something that feels like a dessert or when youโre already getting flavor from other ingredients (like fruit, coffee, or oats). Where it really shines though is mixing. Doing half unflavored and half vanilla bean is a great moveโit tones down the sweetness while still giving you just enough flavor to enjoy it. You get a more balanced, less โprotein shake-yโ taste, which makes it easier to drink regularly. It also works well in savory or neutral recipes, which flavored protein usually ruinsโthings like oatmeal, smoothies, or even baking. The only downside is that by itself, it can be a little bland if youโre used to sweeter shakes. But thatโs kind of the pointโyouโre trading excitement for control. Overall, itโs a solid staple if you care about versatility and donโt always want your protein to taste like dessert.

Clean protein with no artificial taste
I was looking for a clean whey protein without sweeteners or artificial flavors, and this one checks all the boxes. It mixes smoothly into smoothies, oatmeal, and even coffee without clumping. Since itโs unflavored, it doesnโt add sweetness, but that also makes it versatile for cooking or baking. The bag is a little bulky at 5 lbs, so I transferred some into a smaller container for daily use. Great quality and value for the size.

Taste like a yummy cold glass of, I plan to mix it with a flavored Levels that was too sweet
This is fantastic stuff! True to its labeling it adds no flavor to the cold whole milk I add it to and it makes it just a tad creamier and it's oh so good. I got the vanilla flavor and it was too sweet for me but I intend to mix the two together. And I would suggest that for anybody who thinks one of the flavored ones are too sweet. I will definitely be buying this again.

Best I have tried
Trying to add protein to my diet and this powder is the best I have tried so far. It works great in smoothies and mixed in protein pudding. No aftertaste and no clumping. Only complaint is it needs to come with a scoop. I had trouble figuring out the proper serving size.

Good protein powder without the obnoxious sweet taste.
I had a lot of problems with protein powders mostly due to their sweet taste. I don't know why any manufacturer would butcher their own healthy products. This one is a good one. Completely unflavored. No additives, no spoilers. I am adding it to my coffee in the morning, and I like how it tastes. Tastes like coffee maybe little creamier. It mixes well, the fat on top will dissolve in the fluid on its own, there are no clumps.

My go-to protein powders
For the last six months or so, I've been aiming to eat at least 160 grams of protein every day. I find it almost impossible to hit that mark without the use of protein powder and/or bars. But I was nervous going the whey route at first because I previously had super painful digestive reactions to another powder, enough that it actually swore me off dairy products in general for a few years. The digestibility aspect is what initially brought me to the listing for this Levels protein powder. What left me buying it over other grass-fed whey products, though, was the promise of a "lightly sweetened" product. Most protein powders are *entirely* too sweet for my taste, and generally involve artificial sweeteners that leave a cloying aftertaste. I started with the vanilla flavor, and it was perfect for my needs. One scoop in a blender bottle with 4 ounces of oat milk and 12 ounces of cold brew coffee -- I never had any problems with blending it and the flavor was present but not overpowering against the coffee. I came back and ordered a 5 pound container of vanilla but received chocolate instead (I assume this was an Amazon problem, not a Levels problem). I was out of the previous container, so I used the chocolate anyway. It has the same positive qualities as the vanilla, it just isn't what I would consider particularly chocolatey. I add some cocoa powder if I really want a mocha vibe for my protein coffee. I also bought a 5 pound container of the unflavored powder to use in my overnight oatmeal. It's perfect for that application, blending smoothly with a little water, honey, cinnamon, and Greek yogurt when mixed with a fork (before adding the oats and some berries). I've eaten this every weekday morning for months with none of the digestive issues that previously drove me away from whey. Overall this product is exactly what I was looking for in a protein powder and is now my go-to option.

Nasty taste for the unflavored version
I use A LOT of protein powder. I canโt always meet my nutritional needs, so itโs a helpful option to me to make sure Iโm getting the right amount of protein. This one is not good. Itโs got a slimy texture when you put it in coffee (it makes this weird, syrupy fiasco), itโs bitter, and also salty? Itโs just not good. It ruins my morning coffee and that is the only way I will use protein powder since all other methods seem to involve unhealthy amounts of sugar to cover up the gross taste. Itโs also cold here, so Iโm not going to slam down a shake when I can see my breath. Very disappointing. I even contacted Levels to try and get a sample of their unflavored version prior to buying so I wouldnโt get stuck with a whole tub, but turns out they only have samples for their flavored powders. It also doesnโt dissolve well in cold water, even using a hand mixer. Itโs chunky at times and the strong taste of salt when you accidentally drink a clump is pretty off putting. I donโt recommend it. I saw someone say itโs good in coffee which is why I bought it. Iโm here to say if you like plain coffee with cream or black this will make you want to hurl unless you like a weird bile backtaste accompanying a salt lick. Maybe if you use a ton of sugary syrup you wouldnโt taste it, but thatโs a waste of calories and way too much sugar when I come from a family of diabetics. Off to do more research and find something that actually works and wonโt give me heavy metal poisoning.

Best unflavored protein but not other flavor
The unflavored protein is good and have clean taste. I also tried other flavor, mocha and vanilla. Both taste so bad. Too sweet and very strange taste of sweetness.

Concerns Over Transparency and Confidentiality of Product Reports
I have some concerns because I couldn't find any online platform to view third-party reports for my lot number. Consequently, I reached out to Levels requesting the reports, but they refused, stating that the reports are confidential. I find it quite perplexing that they advertise their products as clean, free of fillers, and regularly tested for heavy metals, yet they deem the reports confidential when requested. I'm puzzled about what could be confidential in these reports, especially since their supplement is consumed by people. Due to this, I've decided not to purchase from them again and would advise others to do the same unless they become more transparent. The primary reason I chose this protein was because of their cleanliness claims.
