I bought this WD product because my mom bought it from Amazon first. I was at her house and asked her for something to clean the sticky residue left behind after I pulled the phone mount from her windshield after the Florida heat had melted and dripped the "nano" adhesive that was supposed to be heat resistant. Several microfiber towels were just smearing the residue, BUT the WD cleaner was like magic. It not only removed the residue and stickiness, but it cleaned the window without leaving any hint of the adhesive. Coincidentally, I had a similar situation in my wife's car with the added problem of the residue dripping onto the dash. I simply could NOT get all the residue off, even after many applications of mineral spirits, many destroyed microfiber towels, and glass cleaner. Every time I thought I got it all, I could still see the smear on the windshield. I happily bought the WD cleaner, and it removed it after 3 seconds. It's an amazing product at a great price. I would have paid much more and given it 10 stars (if I could) based on my experience.

Really cleans motorcycle chain on the first try without much scrubbing

I used this on a rusty table saw elevation screw. It worked slowly and needed multiple applications along with a wire brush to get the rust removed. I also used it on some screws holding in the burners of a weber grill. Again, multiple applications were require and it eventually removed the rust but the screws were too far gone to be removed. So, it works pretty well. Just don't let it get so rusty that the metal has deteriorated to where it doesn't help.

Works great on tools and my giant toolbox. I recently had a job on a car with 300,000 miles and everything under the hood was caked in a number of cooked down fluids combined with general road debris, tar and grease. By the time I was done myself and all of my tools were filthy and I noticed the pulls on my toolbox drawers had gotten pretty nasty too. I used parts cleaner but the smell was stiff for how much cleaning I had to do. I ordered this product and tried it out and it cleaned my tools very well with no noticeable smell and no irritation to my nose or eyes from working with it for a prolonged amount of time. It took at least a couple years of age off of my rubberized gripped tools like the torque wrench I had used and the 3 different pairs of locking clamps. It also did a great job of wiping off my expensive tool cabinet without damaging the finish. The box looks brand new again and all it took was a wipe down with a rag I sprayed with the product. I’ll be keeping a bottle on the bench from now on. With how much tools cost it’s a good idea to keep them clean and feeling good on the hand.

does an excellent job getting chain wax off the swingarm. spray it on and wait about 5 minutes and wipe off the residue

Removed white sealant off tools easily.

I used this on a clients shower door that had so much soap scum and water stains that it almost looked painted. Sprayed this on and within minutes it was crystal clear. There was still a little etching from what looked like water droplets, but they were hardly noticeable and there's not much you can do for etching. Also had no noticable odor. Very impressive I highly recommend it.
