Panasonic Cyclonic Inverter Microwave
I read many reviews. Many gave great info. Reliability had me look at Panasonic. Our last Panasonic microwave lasted 30 years. Served us well but needed new. I researched the cyclonic inverter technology. Some concerns but mostly good results. Went ahead and purchased. I have been using microwave since they first became commercially available in the early1970's so I'm well aware of the drawbacks of "soggy", uneven heating, drying out if overcooked, hard to getting the timing just right, etc. I just accepted that microwaves are not perfect. But, the new Cyclonic Inverter technology is a game changer. I'm impressed with how well food is heated without overheating. The sensor properly detects heat/moisture and really does a good job efficiently. Drawbacks, and they are well documented in other comments, are the child lock feature and the panel buttons that are hard to find & press. Despite the few drawbacks, I fully recommend the Panasonic Cyclonic Inverter microwave which does a great job heating.

Excellent product. Annoying child safety requirement.

The Child Proof Lock is annoying..
If you have no young children, that child proof lock will drive you crazy to disable.. The instructions in the manual did not work for me. Here is what works for me; 1. Press '0' to clear 2. Make sure door is open 3. Then press; Inv/Turbo Def Timer Popcorn Otherwise, it's a great microwave, good size, functional and ok noise level. Btw, always buy the warranty on microwave ovens. They all die within 3 years.

Didn't think I would be excited about a microwave
A real upgrade to our old microwave, especially when using some of the lower power settings. The inverter on this one uses lower power where the old one would just cycle on and off for a percentage of time. With this, the cooking is more even, although a little faster. I wish it was a little taller inside and the would like the light inside to be a bit brighter. Still, this is once of the nicest microwaves out there.

Received used, returned, or open-boxed display model that was loud and clunky sounding.
Review of Panasonic NN-SN76LS 1.6 cu.ft Cyclonic Inverter Countertop Microwave Oven 1250Watt Power with Genius Sensor Cooking, 19.44"D x 21.88"W x 11.94"H, Stainless Steel My 30-year-old Amana Radarange finally began peeling paint on the interior, so I had to retire it (I am not handy enough to repaint it). A lot of research led me to the Panasonic brand. I wanted one with a stainless steel interior for easier cleaning and not having to worry about peeling paint. I first tried the Panasonic that has Alexa integration, but it would not work consistently with Alexa, so I returned it. A more thorough search resulted in this one. After several delayed shipping notices, it finally arrived. I received what appears to be an open-box or returned item. Having just received a Panasonic and returned it, I knew how the new ones are packaged. The photos reflect the how it was repacked. The power cord was wound up and threaded through itself. It lacked the protective tape and wrappings on the cabinet and door. The manual and turntable wheel were loose inside the cabinet and with the turntable driver already installed. This thing is loud. It has a sound almost as if it’s churning. I posted a short video of it just starting up. It gets louder the longer it runs. I am considering returning this one since I did not get a new one. The insides did not appear to have debris, so maybe it was just a re-boxed floor model. But, once again, it sounds too loud, and something is possibly not right. The interior light is pretty dim too. It does seem to heat well, for what little I have used it so far. I don’t use pre-cook settings often, but there are several on this unit. I am so frustrated with Panasonic right now. The insides seem smaller than my old microwave (it’s a ¼ cubic foot). This is definitely not as tall on the inside. This unit is a lot lighter in weight than my old one. This unit is easier to move around for cleaning under and behind it. If not for the loudness and not sounding like it’s running correctly, I would likely give it 3.5 stars. Then adding in that I received a used or returned or opened box item, I am deducting more stars for this reason. I did not purchase the extended warranty, but maybe I should have. The price of this is not cheap. I can go to Walmart and get a 2.2 cubic foot, stainless steel interior microwave that has almost as many features as for about $150 less.

Dissapointed
Spent the extra money because this microwave was one of the top rated for chemical/toxin free house. Was disappointed. that it had a weird smell that was still there after a few weeks. The child lock is annoying but I get it. The door got stuck after only 3 weeks which is why I returned it. It did cook very well and look nice but too much money for the door issue being stuck
