Works great, with some conditions...
It smells great and yes it works, with conditions... It's not like the nasty smelling poisons we're used to using that also tend to protect minor unsprayed areas - I've found that as other reviewers have shared, the more tenacious mosquitoes do tend to find that tiny spot you missed and grab a quick meal. But where the spray was well spread - no bites at all. [WARNING] - Honey bees are attracted to this stuff, BUT - only because they think you might be a flower... there is no aggression and if you don't swat at them they'll cruise up to about a half an inch away from your skin and after a few seconds of closer inspection they realize you're not a big flower and will go about their business. So if you have a fear of bees, this may be a struggle for you to wear in areas frequented by honey bees. My guidance is let them come right up for close inspection, because once they realize there's no pollen to be had, they are off about bee-business. Also of note is that the sprayer is a mister that has a wide spray cone, so if you aren't right next to your arm when you spray, most of it dissipates into the air around you. Either spray your hand directly and wipe, or bring the sprayer really close to the target area and it works great. Had to come revise my initial review after using it for the last three evenings. Great stuff because it does work, smells great and I'm not spraying poisons or alcohol on my skin. Definitely recommended.

It works!
My daughter is super allergic to mosquitos and she always gets bit more than the rest of us. It is tough to find bug sprays because we only want to use the all natural ones, and I really was starting to feel like we've tried almost every one on Amazon without much success. We were planning to go on a swamp tour in Louisiana and the last time we went on one, she got eaten alive, so I needed to find a new spray. Last time, we used the Skedattle brand in the green bottle and that was pretty useless. I decided to give this spray a try, it was one I hadn't tried yet, I loved that it was organic, and it contained a good blend of the essential oils that I typically target. Here's what I found: Before we started, I sprayed this on lightly and she also had on a Super Bands bug bracelet- we only saw a couple mosquitoes and they didn't land so we thought it was working well. However, as soon as we got closer to the water and whenever we would stop moving on the tour, the mosquitoes would start to swarm. I watched and they would circle, not wanting to land where the spray was, which was good, BUT they would find the smallest patch of skin/clothes where you may not have gotten the spray and would land there. We would spray them as soon as they landed and that did the trick, but we're not going to stand around and do that all day... so we ended up pretty much drenching our clothes in the stuff. It dried quickly and didn't stain our clothes or anything. I didn't want to spray it on our faces though, so for that I used my other go-to... pure vanilla extract. Immediately those two things made a big difference, they actually weren't even really swarming as much after that. At the end of the day... success!! She didn't get bit once. I'll definitely buy this spray again because it worked for us... and since the vanilla and the bug bracelets probably helped as well, I'm going to stick with that combo. :) Hope that helps!

Works ok, you need to add every few hours
If you like lemon and eucalyptus smell youโd love it. Itโs definitely better than smelling like other chemical-ish Bug spray for me. I use it for myself and baby (he was 6months old when I stared using it on him), no skin issue, kept mosquitos away while playing at a park. I noticed that we did get mosquito bites after more than two-three hours I sprayed it on us. So youโre gonna need to add every few hours if youโre staying outside or exposed to mosquitos / bugs. Maybe itโs not so water / sweat resistant. Itโs organic and most of the ingredients are oil, it does feel like Iโm just spraying oil on my skin, so it might got washed off by sweat on our body. The bottle is skinny and the pump works pretty good, I bring it with me when I go out with my baby. It lasted the whole summer. So, over all I love this product and Iโm buying it again. But for those who donโt like strong lemon and eucalyptus smell and oil texture I donโt recommend. Also since itโs deet free I doubt that this will work perfectly at camping or any kind of hard core nature environment. Maybe use it as additional to other repellent products.

Definitely a great alternative to Deet
I bought this because both of my daughters play soccer and there are so many mosquitoes at the practice field they were getting eaten alive. I do not like the idea of using DEET twice a week on my kids so I thought this would be a good alternative. My oldest daughter it worked like a charm she did not get bit at all. It did not work on my youngest for some reason but she also has a O+ blood type and apparently mosquitoes love that. I am going to go ahead and give it five stars because it did work for my oldest. It has a nice smell it's not overpowering. I am all for anything that is a natural alternative to a chemical. Just be advised if you are someone that mosquitoes love this may not work with your body chemistry. I also want to make a note that off Deep Woods did not work for my youngest daughter either. Apparently she just taste good. LOL

Faulty bottle!!! Leaks everywhere
I gave this 3 stars because we love the actual spray. It works!! It keeps the mosquitoes at bay while hiking and exploring. But their bottle has done nothing but leak everywhere!! It leaked all over our car (leaving it a very harsh smell along with my daypack). The bottle was sitting up. We had to throw the whole thing away and it was still full!!! Love the spray but awful bottle!

I toom this spray on holiday to Greece, super hot, in the 40s. It didn't completely block the bites(nothing does really) but the bites I got were very minimal, didn't bother me and didn't raise into spots. Well worth the money. I'd buy again.
