Comply TW-400-C Memory Foam Replacement Ear Tips, Black (S/M/L) (3 Pairs)

I cycle between multiple headphones. Status Audio Between Pro 3ANC, B&W Px8 and Sennheiser Momentum TW3. The B&W are over the ear, so not really in the same league, but the Sennheiser and Status Audio are in the same league and I've noticed I have difficulty finding a comfortable fit with Silicone ear tips. They're either not comfortable or they don't stay firmly planted in my ears if I move about. Recently I got an email from Status Audio that they now stock Memory Foam tips for the Between Pro models, so I thought I'd give them a try and was simply blown away by how much better they were over the regular Silicone tips. They sound better. They offer much more sound isolation and they stay firmly in my ears, no matter what I'm doing. So off to Amazon to see what I could find for my Sennheiser Momentum TW3 and after reading multiple reviews decided I'd order the COMPLY TW-400-C TrueGrip Pro Earbud Tips. I'm so glad I did. They're really well made and easy to attach. They are so MUCH more comfortable and with them, I don't need to use Active Noise Cancellation as they simply offer a new level of sound isolation all on their own. They remain in my ears without the constant fiddling I was always doing with the stock Silicone tips. COMPLY Tips are made of Premium Materials and promote Premium Sound. They are the Original Memory Foam Earphone Tip, made in the USA using proprietary memory foam materials for the ultimate in ear headphone upgrade. I don't know how long they'll last as I've read that Silicone tips basically never wear out, but memory foam can wear out over time. For the price of admission you get three pairs of tips, so I doubt I'll need to buy more for quite some time to come. They were easy to install, but don't make the same mistake I made, which was to not make sure one of them was completely installed and I put the right earbud in my ear to feel for size and comfort and when I removed the earbud, the tip wasn't seated firmly and it was now stuck in my ear. This required getting my partner to help remove it with tweezers. But once installed correctly, this isn't a concern. The bottom line is these memory foam tips from COMPLY simply make my earbuds more comfortable, sound better, with significantly improved sound isolation. For not much money they took excellent earbuds and elevated them to a whole new level. And that's really terrific. Yes, it is!

I have tried many replacement tips for my sennheiser tw3s. The oem ones are ok but I just can’t get them to maintain a fit. But when I tried third party tips, they always drastically alter the sound. But not these! They sound exactly like the oems. And, because they are foam that expand when you put them in, lower end sound is much clearer and consistent. Noise cancellation is also improved because of the better fit through isolation. I have tried all of my usual tests including a two hour visit to the gym. Occasionally, I had to adjust the ear buds to maintain a tight seal but only a little - by far better than the oems. If that is the worst i have to deal, I can certainly live with it. They are foam so they will not last forever. If I get anything less then others I have used I will report but the quality seems very high so I am not expecting any problems. Already planning to order more. NOTE: For some of the negative reviews: Remember that these ARE foam, not silicone so you have to prep them before inserting into you ears. Compress the tips using two fingers by squeezing/compressing them by their sides. Then, they should insert very easily. Once in, hold them there for several seconds to allow them to expand to create a seal with your ear. You can find many youtube videos on this.

I’ve had these for about a year now. Admittedly I did not like them at first and cast them aside in favor of the stock tips. I have used my Powerbeats Pro 2 for nearly a year with a less than stellar fit or seal. I just suffered through it. One day I saw the package of Comply tips I set aside long ago just sitting there and decided to give them another go. They’re finicky for sure. I’ve used Comply tips before with my Shure SE earphones. Those are much bigger making them way easier to compress before inserting. These are quite small (they still have to fit in the case). Additionally, having to get the hook over the ear before inserting them before the tips expand is tricky and takes practice. You have to get them inserted before they expand for the best seal. Often you’ll need to hold them in place as they expand in your ear which will result in pushing a button. Hopefully you remembered to turn down the volume beforehand when this happens. Once they’re in, they’re in. They aren’t moving. They’re quite secure. However, due to the very nature of memory foam, it puts pressure on the ear canal to stay put. The result is quicker ear fatigue compared to the stock tips. These will get uncomfortable after an hour of wear. I could wear the stock tips for hours with no problem. I have not used these with the foam tips while working out but my guess is that it’s not a great experience. Mushy foam can’t feel good. I’m a cyclist and wear these when riding indoor on my trainer. Indoor riding is extremely sweaty so I don’t think I’d use these. However, for everyday use on the train or around the house, they’re great. One last thing, the tips may not give you that satisfying magnetic click when placing the earphones back in their case. You’ll have to confirm for yourself that they are securely back in the case and charging. It doesn’t seem to affect charging. Not a deal breaker but definitely something to be aware of. I’m glad I decided to give these another try.

These are absolutely amazing…….but they don’t last long. After a month of heavy use they start to fall off. They work so well I brought another pack but once again couple months they were all used.

I have used Comply earbuds for some years now. Whenever I replace a Bluetooth headset, I always order a set of matching Comply earbuds, at the same time. I have used them on Motorola, Phiaton, and JLab earbuds and in every case, they dramatically improved the sound quality, as well as noise isolation. When you combine top sound quality and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) of a good headset, with the superior noise isolation of Comply earbuds, it's as though you are sitting in a theater, all by yourself, out in the middle of nowhere. Great sound becomes spectacular sound and almost no outside sound gets in. When I'm using either my JLab or Phiaton headset and the headset is not in "Ambient" mode, my wife can be talking to me a couple of feet away and if I'm not looking at her, I don't know she is talking. So I suggest that you don't use them while driving. If you want the best possible sound from your earbuds and great noise isolation, then these are a must-have.

The foam will begin to rip and tear shortly after the first month of using the product. Conveniently right after their return window. They also don't stand by their product and have awful return policies. The pros are that the sound proofing is pretty decent quality when in use. Though that effect is fully negated when the foam begins to rip off of its self and wont sit in the ear correctly. Definitely a product you'll have to be buying on repeat with heavy use.

I've tried to buy cheaper ones, but they just don't work well. Great brand, well worth it. They are a bit snug for the Soundcore P40i, but they do work.

Listen to the reviews that repeat what I’m saying. These are great starting off and do a great job with noise cancellation. I have 2 massive issues that prevent me from leaving a 5 star review. I got these on July 15th. They tore on September 1st. That’s a really terrible lifespan for something that costs $16. Granted you are given an assorted 3 pack of different sizes. That unfortunately leads me to my second major issue: it was really hard finding a size that fit properly. By the time I finally did and they went through their break in period, the tips already began to wear down and start falling out CONSTANTLY. I wasn’t looking to pay essentially a monthly subscription for ear tips. If these can’t stay in your ears or last even a few months then they are not worth your money or your time.

Too expensive and no real improvement in anything

I was going follow the instructions when I ordered them. You said to buy them in the same size as my original Technics tips and that what I did. Comply tips doesn't even reduce noise as original Technics silicone tips. I know from the past that foam tips gave me way batter listening experience but this one only makes trouble. They not even stay in my ears securely. Maybe wrong size? They looks more like XL in Technics sizes.

They work ok but a cheaper tip gave a better fit. They will also only last a few months being foam. Meh regret the money spent on this 3 starts as it does the job
