In case anybody was wondering.
Starting the spindle with the tool in the collet resulted in the cord disengaging effortlessly leaving the probe rotating undamaged in the spindle. This made me super happy! I was wondering when this would happen. This probe is great for setups and couple of microns is well within tolerance for an optical touch probe. My test results were better than anticipated. I do also strike a tool setter commonly found on here without issue.(no deflection). The electrical timing difference (between the probe strike and tool setter strike) was easily calculable and repeatable allowing the operator to change tools to any tool length, and continue cutting from the same WCS, having only referenced the surface once before a multitool toolpath. I also bought the N.O version as a backup.

3d probe with high accuracy and great price
I was really impressed with this touch probe! It works flawlessly on my CNC machine, making edge-finding and digitizing super easy. The tungsten steel ball tip feels durable, and the build quality is excellent. The wiring was straightforward, and the response is fast and accurate. Overall, a great product for the price!

N.O. is V+ when static, 0V when triggered by the edge.
Their definition of NO / NC seems backwards to me. It seems like NO should be 0V at rest but it's not. Instead, at rest the yellow lead is high (12V or whatever your power supply is) and it goes low when triggered by an edge. Fortunately my CNC control has both a normal and an inverted probe input so I didn't have to exchange this. This NO probe would not work in this control's edge finder port as it requires trigger=high. Once wired correctly the probe works very well. I checked runout after placing in a standard ER20 Tormach TS tool holder and TIR of the probe tip was 0.0005 out of the box before making any adjustments.

Far exceeded my expectations!
I'm using this PGFUN Probe on my 4ftx8ft ShopBot PRS converted to run with Centroid Acorn. Hooking it up was easier than I expected and my first tests of it impressive. I did a find center of bore routine repeatedly with a variation of only 0.0004" - or 0.01016 mm. Time will tell how durable it is.

The ability to probe non-conducted materials is extremely important in my particular work
One of the very few probes that can probe non-conductor materials worked great

Very happy
Very accurate for the price deffently pick up! I bought two and use other as tool setter and have a spare just incase. I also just recently purchased there ruby probe will make a review on that. It was .020 out when i got it probably from shipping but i always verify. just took 10mins and slowly dialed her in. Accupro collet was used.

With minimal changes to Universal G Code Sender it works
Don't throw out the paper receipt as its the instructions telling you what color wire is which. Note requires a 5v to 24v power source for the red cable, Black is Ground and Yellow is Signal. Same setup as any powered proximity switch you have to source at least a 5 volt power source for the red cable. Those people that righteously say its a three pin plug (Note you do have to provide your own) without offering jumpering it to a 5 volt pin are not helpful. Very good value as unlike an Aluminum touch plate this is insulated from the machine so if like me you have an aluminum bed this will still be able to align your machine. They also threw in a freebie which I used to test the wires a little wire clamp kit.
