I have Dupuytren's Contracture (the tendon controlling my ring finger contracts, so that finger "grips" into my palm and is painful to extend.). This is manageable during the day, but without a splint my finger curls over at night, leading to pain in the morning when I need to extend my finger. These splints work very well overnight, and don't seem to cause any problems. I've worn them every night for a few weeks now (I'm waiting for surgery), and my surgeon says they may also help post surgery to help prevent any scar tissue causing contraction and reducing mobility. I also wear them during the day if I'm relaxing or not using my hand much. OK, they get in the way of normal manual dexterity, but so does "DC", and these really can help prevent the finger going into a state which is painful to get out of. At this price it's worth just trying them - they won't break the bank, and could be very helpful. They are for me!

Did the job perfectly

Arrived quickly, simple enough to use (no instructions included). Unfortunately too long for the fingers in need it for with no way of shortening it. Had to order different ones to get them to fit

These fit securely and can be adapted for different sized fingers (mine are quite thin and long) and in general they're very comfortable and keep my finger immobilised effectively. The plastic velcro strips have some uncomfortable sharp edges where they're attached to the softer fabric straps, though, which mean I have to rotate the splints to stop them constantly catching and irritating the neighbouring finger.
