Sleek, Secure, and Smartly Designed Wrist Strap
This wrist strap is exactly what I was looking for. The design is sleek and minimal, but still feels extremely secure when attached to my camera. It comes with two anchors, which is a nice bonus, and they’re fully compatible with other Peak Design products. I already had a shoulder strap from them, so being able to swap between setups instantly is a huge convenience. The anchors themselves are impressively low profile and don’t get in the way when shooting. They’re rated to handle up to 200 pounds of tension, which adds serious peace of mind. I also appreciate the built-in safety feature. The cords are color coded, so if they start to wear down, a yellow layer becomes visible as a clear warning that it’s time to replace them. Overall, a well thought out, high quality accessory that makes carrying and handling my camera easier and safer.

A truly marvelous camera accessory
Over the past few months, I’ve been testing more and more camera gear. The wrist strap is something I never really thought much about until my time with other Peak Design products. Learning how all of their straps work together via their unique Anchor Link system really made me take notice of them and the wrist strap they call the Cuff. When taking my camera on and off tripods, sliders, neck straps, monopods, and now, wrist straps, I like to find ways to cut down on the time between swapping devices. It has been a priority to me. This is the main reason I switched from the Bogen/Manfrotto quick release plate to the ArcaSwiss style quick release plate systems and the same reasoning I have for switching all my straps over to Peak Design straps. I save time and hassle by using the products from Peak Design and it is outstanding. The Cuff is a low profile wrist strap that can be worn as a bracelet so that it is out of the way when it’s not in use but can be quickly applied as a wrist strap by snapping it into place with the Peak Design Anchor Link. I can go from handheld to unstrapped and back on my tripod in seconds. Because Peak Design uses a plate that is designed to work with ArcaSwiss plates I can leave this plate on my camera and switch from the Cuff to the Neck Strap to my Monopod faster than unscrewing a standard strap’s 1/4″ screw from the camera. The Cuff is made out of some incredibly strong materials. The strap features seatbelt-style nylon webbing with an anodized aluminum adjuster hardware while the connectors have anti-abrasion thermoplastic-corded Anchors. The Peak Design Clip is designed to handle over 200 lbs. The Cuff isn’t just for cameras, too. You can use it with binoculars, GoPros, rangefinders, tools, and more. What comes in the box? Peak Design includes the Cuff and two of their Anchor Links. These are a newer style and are not flat like the previous models. They are designed to be easier to clip on. The Cuff also comes with a Peak Design sticker and a small carrying pouch. I can’t really get in words how truly wonderful this is. Needless to say, the Cuff is built very well and feels like it will last a long time. The threading looks like it was tightly sewed and all-in-all, I don’t have any complaints with this product. Some people may say, “Who needs a wrist strap?” I personally feel better knowing my $3500 camera is safely attached to my wrist in the event that it gets knocked loose from my grip. It could happen easily when you are in a crowded room and trying to set up your gear or while you are breaking it down. Getting bumped while shooting interviews or just trying to take a break off to the side can cause catastrophe and having something like the Cuff to ensure that my Canon 5D Mark IV doesn’t smash to the ground is priceless to me. The Cuff might be a bit pricier than other wrist straps on the market coming in at $29.95 but because of the ecosystem that Peak Design has created, it’s worth every penny in my opinion.

Very stylish strap
Very stylish and functional wrist strap. I bought both this and the Peak Design clutch which kind of fills the same niche, and I was planning on trying both and returning the one I didn't like. However, I ended up keeping both because they are so easy to switch back and forth. Pros: The wrist strap is very stylish and made of quality materials. It is also very strong and instills confidence in the event of a drop. I like that you can wear the wrist strap as a bracelet when you aren't using it, making it very easy to take out when you need it. If you're concerned about other reviews about the bracelet size, don't worry. You can simply shimmy the magnet inside of the strap to where you need it in order for the bracelet to close nicely. Very easy to put on and take off of the camera thanks to Peak Design's quick release tabs. (comes with an extra one in case the one attached frays) Better than the clutch because you can use this while your DSLR is on a small tripod and being hand held for videos or vlogging. Cons: As others have said, the magnet is not super strong, which means for me, that when I take my backpack off to access my camera, often the strap will graze the bracelet and it flops down. Not a big deal since I needed it at the moment anyway, but I'm trying to be honest. Unlike the clutch it will not take any of the weight of holding the camera off your fingers due to the design, if you should drop the camera, it would actually dangle (and swing probably) about a foot or so below your wrist. Now, this would maybe save your camera from falling off a cliff or into the ocean, but would it really matter if it swings and hits a railing or something? You may not lose the camera, but it won't necessarily be safe. Conclusion: Great accessory for your DSLR, and different enough from the clutch to make it worth buying as well. If you already use Peak Design products, that makes this even more valuable for you. I would definitely recommend this, however, if I lost both this and clutch, I would probably only replace the clutch.

Makes traveling easier
I finally switched from the shoulder/ neck strap on my Nikon to this. I carried my camera all over Italy with this strap. It is much better in the summer heat not having anything on my neck. I found this strap very secure and easy to use. Lightweight but clearly well-made. Another bonus of no neck strap is my camera fits in a smaller bag. I should have bought this a long time ago.

Great product
Purchased for my heavy DSLR. This was my first Peak Design purchase, won’t be the last. This is fantastic in design and build quality. Glad to say goodbye to that old neck strap.

Almost perfect
I really like the look and feel of these straps, but my one issue with it is that if you hang it off your wrist, it feels like it’ll cut off circulation. There’s no way to lock in the size of the loop to fit on your wrist comfortably.

Best Wrist Strap Ever
This is the ideal wrist strap. It's sturdy yet flexible enough to not be in the way when shooting vertically. It uses the Peak Design connectors, so can be switched out quickly and easily to the neck strap. I especially like how the strap automatically tightens up on my wrist if the camera is pulled away from me or dropped, and loosens back up easily. It's expensive, but one of my favorite camera purchases, and I think it's worth the cost.

Amazing
Absolutely love this wrist strap. Straps might be a tad wide, but overall great design with the open lock and easy slide to tighten on the wrist.
