Read and understand the setup instructions
This little device works great! Iโm convinced a few of the lower star reviews were from a lack of understanding. There is another review with the translated setup manual and if you follow that this little guy works exactly as intended. Had it wired, setup and running within 10 minutes. Using it to protect a pair of Milwaukee batteries on my kids power wheels. Works like a charm!

Instructions in English: ๐ Button Functions UP Button Short press: Switch between percentage display and time. Long press (5 seconds): Toggle between charging mode (IN) and discharging mode (OUT). SET Button Short press: View current parameter settings. Long press: Enter parameter setting mode. Set the following: UP: Upper voltage limit dn: Lower voltage limit OP: Conduction time dOP: Delay conduction time (0โ999 seconds) FOP: Forced conduction time (discharge mode only, 0โ10 seconds) DOWN Button Short press: Toggle relay on/off (emergency stop). When disabled, the LCD displays โOFFโ and the relay is disconnected. Long press: Set LCD backlight mode: L-P: Backlight always on ON: Backlight auto-off after 5โ10 minutes (press any key to wake it up) ๐ Mode Descriptions Charging Mode (IN) When battery voltage โค dn (lower limit), the relay turns on and charging begins. It does not regulate voltage or currentโonly on/off switching. โ๏ธ Parameter Settings Enter Setting Mode: Long press the SET button. Navigate Parameters: Press SET to switch between parameters. Adjust Values: Use UP or DOWN to set values (short and long presses supported). Save & Exit: Long press SET again. 3.1 โฑ Charge/Discharge Time Control If OP (conduction time) โ 0: Timing begins when the relay activates. Once OP time is reached, relay disconnects automatically. If voltage conditions are invalid during timing (< dn in charge mode or > UP in discharge), the device displays H:ER to signal a configuration error. Press any button to stop flashing. If time control is off (OP = 0), the total charge/discharge duration is still recorded and shown during time display mode. A must for drill battery power wheel upgrade
Used this on my sonโs power wheel conversion. Wanted to make sure that I didnโt kill my Milwaukee batteries when using them in his quad. Set up can be a little tricky at first. But just read through the description and youโll get it. Once set up you never have to mess with it again.

delayed on function not working
Product is well made and working as expected. You have to be little bit intuitive with menu and functions as the manual is written in broken English.(https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71s7Wp+yyBL.pdf ) Everything so far working as expected with accurate voltage reading and cut offs. Problems 1. It would have been a better design if there is delay on lower voltage cut off. Instead of turning off instantly at lower cut of voltage may be few second delay would have been better. Sometime loads draw large currents and battery voltage drops instantly. A delay may save the day! 2. Startup delay function is not working! Regardless whatever I tried 001-999 start up is instant. 3. I also could not turn off the display 4. Electrolytic capacitors likely fail within an year as it does not appear good quality. Goods 1.well made with great connectors and display 2. It functions as it should for most part , I only tested for discharging function.

Simple and dependable battery monitor for automated charging.
Simple device that will disable battery discharge at any settable voltage point, or be used as what it was designed to do, monitor battery drain and automatically charge to a set point. Works great and has features to set timing of active charge and discharge resets

Not good but I will give you all a solution
I want to control a large contactor to change state from close to open since I have 30amps 14vdc #6 wire on each terminal lug. A solution, I am using this relay voltage sensor to monitor High voltage 14.2vdc and low voltage 11.2vdc. When voltage "high" sensor cuts the positive voltage source to denergize the contactor so the solar aray will not continue charging. when voltage is low state meaning battery depleated to 11.2vdc the sensor reads low voltage and sends the positive source power to the contactor so it closes and begings charging. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THIS DOES THAT AS IT SAYS BUT IT DOESNT WORK. HERE IS A SOLUTION. First fallow this quick hack. I explain: cutting that litter section of the pcb board it will separate the positive input signal from the output positivr signal. Doing this will create a secondary yellow signal dedicated to monitor the battery without interfering with the switching on off from the relay. This hack will help you achieve what I did or least control a load. You can do much better job than I, put a jumper cable connector or just run a wire. Now you can control external load while monitor the real time state of charge of the battery. If input is the same as battery output, now place yellow wire to input and monitor the source as well as battery and that will do the trick to control your load and still be able to monitor the battery voltage in real time. Voltage reading not accurate
Bought two of these. One appears to read voltage 0.6v high, the other is 0.8v high with no method to calibrate similar to the 12v version available. I can compensate with an off set but misleading voltage is disappointing. Also for use with Lifepo4 batteries, the single decimal place voltage is less than desirable for good control.
