V I Please #304 is an absolutely gorgeous, rich saturated beautiful cool toned red raspberry pink color. It's so flattering. The formula is buttery smooth and it glides on like a dream. The brush is amazingly efficient and it makes polishing so simple. It does all the work for you, just glide the brush down the nail and the coverage is instantly perfect. It's really wonderful. No base coat needed. Super fast drying time. Great top coat. Long lasting. Great price. It's a winner in my opinion. Updated 4/9/26 to add a pic of "You Can-Dy It" - it's a gorgeous rose-pink-coral kind of mix that reminds me of spring flowers. So easy to paint on and so pretty! Updated 5/22/26 to add a pic of Chevron Trend. It's a cool leaning red with no orange tones. Perfect in two coats. Beautiful color, so flattering.

Essie never disappoints. The color looks great at all times on both my hands and feet. I find it resilient and long lasting.It is easily applied, forgiving with brush strokes, and dries very quickly. The color was suggested to me, and I was hesitant to try it. I am glad I did and have worn it ever since. A great choice.

Beautiful color. Other nail polishes chip after a couple of days but this nail polish can last a week before chipping.

My nails tend to be thin, brittle, flexible, and peel. Regular nail polish flakes off almost immediately, and I can't stand builder/UV gel because it takes too long to apply, I can't stand the growout, can't get it off, destroy my nails trying to remove it, and definitely do not have time for regular trips to a nail salon for maintenance. This two-step polish adds just enough rigidity to my nails to help avoid breakage and prevent the nail polish from flaking off when my nails bend. Yet it's easy to apply, quick to dry, looks salon-quality glossy, and is easy to remove. The Fairy Tailor is very classy--it's sheer so you get a bit of the french manicure look without the white polish-- although perhaps a bit milkier than I wanted. The product is so great I'm trying the Of Corset color next.

I’m glad I got to try this Essie Gel Couture nail polish in Fairy Taylor. Color is milky light pink. It is not opaque, it’s more French manicure look. It took a few times to get used to it not to overwork it while applying. Less strokes is better, because if I continued doing more strokes the polish started to “tangle” and got messy. So, try not to rush, but do it quickly enough, so it doesn’t start to dry while applying it. When I did it first time, it came out a little streaky since I was rushing it a bit. Here, I did 2 layers here and 3rd layer is a topcoat. Topcoat gives a nice shine, similar to real gel. I like the nice and clean look. I am also pleasantly surprised how quickly this polish dries, so that is definitely a big plus. It dries within 10 mins (to the touch) and it’s fully dry within an hour. The only downside is it only lasts 3-4 days before it starts chipping. I am typically careful with my hands and use gloves. I typically wear this polish in this color for about 5 days before I take if off. It comes off easily with acetone free nail polish remover.

This is the best topcoat for home manicures I have ever used!!!! I keep house and love to work in the garden, so my hands and nails take a beating. I polished my nails, using an Essie polish and this topcoat. Nails stayed in perfect condition for about 10 days, an absolute record for me!!!! I was just about ready to go for a professional manicure because my nails were all broken off and protective polish wasn't helping them. I'm so glad I decided to use this one last polish before giving up! It is amazing!!! Try it! You won't be disappointed!!!♥

Beautiful color, smooth finish, easy application. Color is subtle yet elegant without being flashy. Adds a nice touch for a very decent price.

Bought this after a friend recommended it as a long lasting polish. Absolutely obsessed with the color. More of a pale ghostly whisp of pink thank the baby pink it looks like in the bottle, but I actually love it that way. Not too awful on drying time. I usually use quick dry nail polish because I get impatient, but if you have the time to sit and let it properly dry between coats it’s great. Pretty good longevity. I work a physical job so I still had some chipping after a day or two, but i patched it with the color and reapplied the top coat and the patch was barely noticeable and it kept for way longer than usual. Anyway, would get more colors!

The Essie gel couture longwear top coat is one of my favorite top coats. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to use this without a UV gel lamp, but it is actually made to work without one; the "gel couture" in the name is just meant to simulate the look of gel nail polish. Like the rest of the Essie nail products, this has a wide brush that allows you to cover most nails in one stroke, and it does not remove or disturb the underlying nail polish. It dries fairly quickly and leaves a very glossy finish. It helps keep my nail polish chip-free for about an extra day compared to using my Essie quick dry nail polish without it. I would recommend this. The Essie "Here to stay" base coat is great (not to be confused with the Essie "grow stronger" base coat, which is awful). It has a wide brush which makes it easy to apply to each nail in one stroke, dries quickly so I don't have to wait long before applying my nail polish, and keeps my Essie quick dry nail polish on for 2-3 days without chipping. I would recommend this.

This nail polish is my go-to shade. Only one I that I've used in years. It gives a classic, neutral, clean, and elegant colour to your nails. I apply two coats of this and then use a top coat and it lasts about a week without chipping. It goes on smoothly and thinly at first and layers well, but as the bottle gets older, it becomes thicker. At that time, I only apply one coat.
